we all play for a premiership right? 10 years and counting
.......and according to your supporters you dont have a chance till 2012 .Very confident eh?
So are you saying the whole world woke up the next day and totally forgot the 119 point drubbing of the previous day. I think the embarrassment has/will last longer than a day and this thread is proof.Geelong have been an embarrassment for 44 years, Port were an embarrassment for 1 day.
Again straying from the topic, why do you bring up the Crows when we are discussing Port??
Also if we all play for a premiership why are you treating a Grand Final humilation as acceptable? You really are losing it teeeepeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
teeeppeee rofl...i hope you are not a comedian by profession... too funny.
You wont play in a premiership final for the next few years, worry about draft picks for the time being, you wont be humiliated cause you wont reach the stage
Once again celebrating hypotheticals and has his club in the 2008 GF
Hypotheticals!!!! 'IF Adelaide made the GF, they would not have disgraced themselves like Port". Is that not a Hypothetical?
Seeing it seems to be a Crows v Port thread, the fact of 2007 is we made the GF and had a much better year than you.
How??? Did Port get anymore out of the season than what the AFC did?

Whether you finished second or sixteenth, if you didn't win the flag, the season was a failure. The only thing finishing second gets you is a worse draft pick. Also, I'd rather lose in the first week of the finals than win a few games against poor opposition, carry on like ****heads, then get smashed by a record 119 points in the biggest game of the year... But if you're happy with being the AFL's biggest loser then good on you.
Being a Geelong supporter, for the most part of your life i dare say you would know what its like to be a loser!
And for your 2nd is no better than 16th, what a load of crap! Everyone sets a goal to play finals, then evaluates from there and then wants to play in a grand final. All clubs start the year with different expectations, and we exceeded ours, so the season was no failure at all, but the GF was.
I suppose in 1989 you may have well finished last, same as 1992, 1994 and 1995 hey?

How so? At the end of the day you won NOTHING in 2007. I repeat. You won NOTHING.
NOTHINGNESS!!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
So you saying that Port and the Crows season was no better than Richmonds or Carlton? It may have been the case 20 or 30 years ago where if you didnt win the flag you may have well finished last. But its very different these days, you have to build a team and it takes time, so playing in getting to a Grand Final is a pretty good indication you are on the right track, as appossed to finishing 15th or 16th, or even 8th of rthat matter.
Blah blah blah. At the end of the day, you have NOTHING to show for the 2007 season.
Apart from the record as suffering the biggest and most humiliating GF defeat in the history of teh VFL/AFL
Blah blah blah. At the end of the day, you have NOTHING to show for the 2007 season.
They have a silver medal to remind themselves forever they were smashed to the tune of 119pts in the 2007 GF, adds insult to injury
