I think you've been listening to Choco too much. Did you really believe what he was saying pre-Grand Final or did you know before that he was (supposedly) just playing mind games (as he claimed)?

In any case, a Grand Final pumping may be a Grand Final pumping but only one of those is an AFL record.

They also forgot to mention the part about Essendon going on to win back to back premierships and came within a goal of beating the record winning margin in 1985

I don't know about Port or Crows fans being feral seeing as I generally avoid going to SA for games but the one thing that can't be denied is that Port Adelaide in general (from the coaches to players and supporters) are very delusional. Case in point, Mark Williams carrying on like he'd already won the Grand Final before losing in spectacular fashion.

I was going to mention precisely that as there is always the chance for atonement, but I was afraid bombaz4evaz0mg!111 would think I was talking about a recently released motion picture.

It's easy for you to be smug now, winners are grinners and all that, but you've missed the point entirely.

Right now it's our turn and we're lumping it, fine.

But to have supporters of clubs like Essendon, Melbourne and yes, even Geelong, pointing and laughing about "embarrassing" and "pathetic" Grand Final performances is hypocritical - unless you're prepared to admit that you were all in the same position not that long ago.

To make it sound as if we've broken the mould for Grand Final humiliation based on a difference of 4-5 goals is ridiculous - given Essendon and Melbourne have both held the points record within the past 25 years, Geelong got smacked by 10+ goals back to back just over a decade ago and the Bombers are the reason a card-carrying ********* at my local mall wears a 'COLLINGWOOD - THE FIRST AFL PREMIERS' cap every time I've seen him.

By the way, is it true that Toots Hibbert went into hiding after the Grand Final? That's what everyone seems to be saying. I've asked him the question several times but he seems to be avoiding the topic.

port really are between a rock and ahard place

do they lose by mroe than 119 in a game to erase this from the record books

or do they leave it there for everybody to see for all eternity

that the club's biggest every defeat, was in the sport's biggest game
