That's funny because it may well be true. However, as a long suffering Cats fan who endured those losses in the 80's and 90's....Has anyone wondered why an Olympian is always said to have WON Silver or Bronze, yet in footy a Grand Final loss is lampooned?

Let me remind you then.
Port played in last years Grand Final only to embarrass themselves, AFL Footy and Austalia on the world stage. Since then, the number 119 and the word Port Adelaide have become folklore.
And suddenly yet another new contender to the best port power embarrassments throne emerges..
If they're going to continue providing such comedy maybe we need a whole new forum set up for port power chokes/embarrassments?

1) Losing Dream Final after all the prematch dribble
2) Daniel "shit my pants" Motlop once he hears the final siren against St Kilda knowing he has to win the match
3) Any of their chokes in 2001-03
4) Tredrea Bow
5) Surjans voice
6) "we are the best side ever to be 0-4"
7) Chads lisp
8) Losing to Brisbane after being 46 points up
9) Losing to Carlton after being 38 points up
10) Losing to Hawthorn after being 7 goals up

to be honest i dont think 1-17 on that list are anywhere near as bad as the grand final.

Is the 119 point GF loss losing some shine seeing how much they have disgraced themselves this year?

Port Power have built their club around hot air and blow it out constantly to their dumb supporters that believe whatever dribble the club feeds them.
Choco has made an artform out of deflecting criticism away by excuses and preaching rubbish to delude their supporters. They lose the first 4 games, yet Choco tries to say that Port are the best 0-4 team ever and all the supporters bleat on about it as though it is true cos Choco said so and using it as some label that they should be proud of. As always Port are too busy talking about what they will do and never actually living up to the hype.
