the evenness of the league.. the evenness of the top four clubs when all fully fit. Seriously the LPFL should be just made up of Skipton, Natte, Rokewood and CL.. no other team will win a premiership ever out there.

The other teams will come good again! Don't forget that Skipton hadn't won a flag for 64 years up until 2001, now they are a powerhouse club! Country footy always goes in ebbs and flows. Teams can't afford to be competitive every season!

I think i remember him playing and captaining Pittong (now in recess) he now plays mostly in defence, but in his pittong days was a power forward, very good leader. Played a couple of games with carngham this year, due to work.

I would like to see Greenbank vs Ramsey in the middle all day. 2 fantastic midfielders going at it. Also like to see Ross Waters vs Noel Jacobs. Ross has had a goog finals series, while the old boy Jacob's is coming of a "best on" in the second-semi. 2 hard nuits that like to dish a bit out. Would be good

I would take the odds of Hill at $20 or Geenbank at $15 for the norm smith. Natte 2s will beat chokewood in a cake walk for mine if i was a betting man. i think carngham at 2.40 is a decent bet to.

Tattyoon definately, they are a strong club that would definately add to the overall strength of the competition and could have immediate success in the league. They are located close enough to the rest of the clubs in the league.
With Ararat likely to be leaving the league in the not too distant future we to find other teams to fill the void.
As for the other 2 teams as long as they will be strong enough to survive and have some success in the league and are not located too far away they should be embraced! But you don't want teams coming into the league and being flogged every week, being deserted by their players and then folding!

carnham are way under these odds at $2.40 they have the experience and would be a good value bet

It'd be good to have him back, especially to help with the younger blokes coming through, but i spose it all depends on (i) whether he wants to play there (ii) how much $$ he wants and (iii) whether the committee could justify that $$ considering clunes need key position players far more than they need on-ballers.

I'd be very surprised if he went back to Lakers - i'd suggest he'd stick to the country leagues where he can make more $$
