My son played with him at Nth Ballarat in the juniors and he wasn't a world beater then. So has nothing changed?

What happened to the natte under 17's captain this year??? Not much of a year i heard haha.... Maybe natte should think about paying him to leave!!!!!!
 
see avoca are having thier first training session this friday.... Really dedicated to the 2008 season and looking forward to a big year... Sounds like its a great club to be involved with at the moment... Good to see =)

I thought he wasn't bad back in his junior days. At Daylesford they rated him pretty highly when he was in the North U/18's and he played a few senior games. He's obviously dropped off the pace lately though.

Although highly rated by his former club, you could bet every dollar in the country that it won't happen or isn't even an option. Pilgs is very happy in his role at Avoca and all signs point to him stringing together 2 consecutive years at one club which is a first for the lad since juniors. Congrats to Pilgy.

The smart money for the Natte job is Brent Mortlock as Natte is close to landing some huge names from Major Leagues. The rumour is Natte are very confident that 2008 is their flag year.

As an outsider I just cant see Natte improving on last year. They will lose a few.. that is a fact. They missed out on their number 1 target for coach in Prickles and have still not appointed someone. All signs at this stage are pointing to them going down... but i could be wrong. We shall see how the summer progresses!

Absolutely ridiculous if that is the case!!! Some cricket leagues haven't even started up yet! Give the boys a spell!!! And as OSB has said..... be of more interest if it was in the MCDFL thread.

Natte will surprise a few next year. They could go one better and only time will tell. They will want to make an announcement on coach soon though because nearly all the district league jobs have been snapped up and the Natte players are high on the list of players to recruit.

Natte have picked up some very good players and have kept them quiet. 2 big key position recruits from Melbourne will be hard to stop next year. Most people I talk to are writing them off saying they won't even make finals but I have heard they are genuinely hoping to go one better.

yes i have also been told this iluvlpfl, and the players that have been picked up are more than handy players, hopefully can pick up a couple more, already looking forward to the 08 season

I did hear something along the lines of a current Southern Football League coach will be making the move to Natte and a Loddon Valley League B&F winner also.

CL has been busy picking up a few decent players from Sebas from the sounds of things.
 
Good luck to Natte next year, they are are great club and look after their players well. I am not suprised that they have picked up some handy recruits. They were unlucky to lose the GF and i hope they go one better next year. It was a pity that a certain member of their match commitee was so pigheaded and short sighted which greatly reduced Nattes on field potential last year, but that person has moved on so one would expect great things from Natte next year.

Nah mate, Im over hill, been over the hill for a while, playing this season was a mistake, but enjoyed being part of the club, they are very welcoming

There seems to be a bit of this going around. I posted something similar on the BFL thread this morning. Knocking those who have the courage to coach is gutless and I wouldn't knock a coach in this league from Rob Waters down to the guy who did it at Ararat. People that do this generally would not have the courage to coach or would never be considered for such a role anyway.

So are you saying you are a coach or have been offered a role? If so, it would be interesting to hear what is happening out at Natte. I think they would want one signed up by November at the very latest if they are going to try and build on last seasons efforts.

Yes bigmore has played in the NCFL for the redbacks in 2005 and i would think he played seniors there as he made the interleague side!

rumour going around fellas that i heard is that James McNamee is on the move from Natte. any truth to that people? it is silly season after all.
