Time for some house cleaning.

1) Do not drag discussions or individual posts over here from other threads or boards.

Feel free to respond to those posts wherever they were posted, if you so choose.

2) Enough with the personal attacks. It’s a long season and this one may go the distance, so if you want to remain a part of the discussion, do it respectfully.

We will use thread bans and infractions if necessary.

Liam has been on over $600k last 2 years and his offer would around $800k from Richmond
$600k is the average salary these days and its delusional to think that would be freo offer
Yep
With the 30% increase in the CBA, Baker's offer would've been closer to $900 000 than $600 000 I would've thought.

$600 000 would probably be a reduction.

Darling is lucky get a game at the Eagles at the moment.

Surely the next time Darling is seen at the 'G is in the retirement motorcade.
At the tigers last game of the season. :p

They need a key forward and Darling is going to be pushed out anyways even if he is contracted for another year.

It satisfies both parties with Tigers having a cooked Lynch and a injured Lefau, Leaving Kosi and 3 really young kfps that are not ready for seniors.

You're in Laa Laa land if you think WC will push Darling out the door.

Darling is even more cooked than Lynch lol

Darling detracts for the trade does not enhance it.

Doggies need a backman could we interest you in Dylan Grimes :p

The voices and the hamster running around in your head don't count as West Coast posters.

If you do the maths for average amount of players per club in each bracket, and put Baker in the 12th-15th range for salary at Freo (which is where he should be), that would put him around the $450-500k mark in 2023 money. Add 30% for an increased cap, and this is in the $585-650k range. It is not delusional at all for Freo to be offering him $600k ballpark. That would be responsible list management. It might be delusional to get him to agree.

To offer Baker $900k in 2025 money would be roughly equivalent to $700k in 2023 money. On average, this would be around the 6th highest paid player per club. At Richmond that is reasonable with a wooden spoon quality list. At Freo it would be insane.

Who are these good key backs you have in mind in the 30-40 range in this draft? Didn’t realise this draft was so loaded with talent, especially that deep.

Observers are slowly coming around to seeing this as a deeper draft than they thought several months ago. No Harley at the top but pretty even from 15 out to 30.

Seem to be reading this more and more especially after the Champs are over.

Yup, Eagles second rounder looking to be just beyond this range.
