As one of the Club Greats, I agree with you in as much as we need a new direction.

Wouldn't you agree however that you yourself have an old face (see my avatar) ... and no mates?

Oh I see ... that's why you feel you can be a director?

So can I ask you, are you the member of Restore the Lions' Pride, and do you support yourself as a director?

As I wrote in my most recent email to our fast-growing group of Club supporters and members, I may not run, it's not about that, it's about contributing to building the Club by helping Lethal get on the board, putting the dud directors to the sword and ensuring the original Lion is restored. We have already identified some magnificent candidates, who'll be nominating in coming days.

Er have you seen my public comments that I'm backing he and Mr Williams for the board?

I'm not sure you and I have met.

Leigh Matthews is loyal to his mates, I get that. Doesn't mean that Williams and Power are viable candidates: they're not. Based on the response to my emails, it's clear they are goners. So let's move beyond the personalities of the soon-to-be-dumped dud directors and let the membership choose from a diverse array of strong candidates.

Why doesn't your fast growing group include me?

I'm not sure whether you're aware, but I actually have my own ticket and I am almost solely responsible for the strength of the upheaval at board level.

Are you sure you're reading responses to emails? Are you sure it isn't ... nothing?

I feel so much dumber for even reading that dross.^^^^^

Oh the shame

We certainly do include Leigh Matthews, and support his entry onto the Board. We don't support the incumbent dud directors including Williams (who moved the motion to sack Vossy) and Power (who voted for it) and acknowledge that Lethal supports them because he's a friend of theirs. It's clear the members have had a gutful of the current board so they are going to be ditched and we'll move on together as a Club with Leigh Matthews on board.

I wrote an article (I referred to it in an earlier post) in the media suggesting Vossy's time was up. I have no problem with the decision to not renew his contract.

So you include me in your emails, but I'm not receiving them? You must've acquired my address from a very questionable source.

The members are going to ditch Power and Williams and there's not much Lions Roar can do about it. Time to move on to other benefactors.

If Lion's Roar vote to back Williams and Power, it will be exposed for what it is: a sly vehicle for one side of a Lions boardroom brawl.
But what kind of vehicle do you drive Henry? Sly seems to be the latest style of transportation...

Watch this turkey try to piggy-back my tweet. "Oh yes our new plan for the board" blah blah "Leigh is a champ" yada yada.

(THE SIDE THAT I'M INVOLVED IN)

Lion's Roar reduces Leigh Matthews' commitment to the Club to one side of a boardroom brawl, that's not really fair. He's bigger than that. The membership won't cop Power and Williams but will embrace Lethal and other Club greats and grassroots members being on the Board. If Williams and Power survive the EGM, then they face election at the AGM. Let's see how they go when they have to explain themselves to the members.

So when I release my Fresh Start team and it includes my mates Power and Williams ... ?

Henry, why do you continually bring The Lion's Roar into this debate?

Why do you go against the one group that actually stood up and got things happening to bring about change. Where were you 12 months ago trying to bring the jumper back, and where were you recently to help out members get themselves organise to even call an EGM. You talk about Lethal and the members, but you've done nothing to help the cause, and now you disrupt it, and the group who did the hard yards to make it all happen.

I'm not sure that an ex Fitzroy board member who bailed before the club financially collapsed would generally be considered a 'club great'.... would he? Or will Henry be filling the 'grassroots member' quota on the board?

That's the goal isn't it? Henry on the board? Or did I get that wrong?

Seriously Henry, when was the last time you spoke to Lions current Board Member Cameron Milner? Or did you take your instructions from him through an intermediatery? Tell us what you think about him, you know your old mate Cam?

Is the truth hurting their Henry?

Just like all slippery political types, you won't answer the tough questions will you. Or the easy ones either.
