I tend to think this is a blessing in disguise based on the $$ and terms being offered. That being said, where our list is at, we would benefit greatly in one or two free hits to strengthen some of our deficiencies behind and in front of the ball.

Its been a bit like getting involved in a game of no limit texas holdem with bluffs onto bluffs.

No doubt would've improved the side, but having a not top 15 player on that type of contract to me isn't good list building, hopefully there's another Logan Evans somewhere we can unearth.

He would have definitely been top 15 player. He would have been a top 10 player. You always have to pay more to attract players to the club. We had the cap space, so that isn't an issue. This is a loss and it sucks, would have really liked him. Now if all we do is add Luko and lose Houston, we are not improving our side at all.

People here really don’t like Stringer, but he’s easily an upgrade for our forward line and won’t cost much in a trade. As long as it’s only a couple of years, I’d see no problem with him.

We have nothing else to spend the money on.

The club culture, in terms of players, isn’t bad. I think we could absorb Stringer.

Often pay a premium for free agents but even still would Perryman justify the deal we were offering? I haven't seen enough of him to form an opinion.

We basically drop away as a flag threat imo, but we do get younger, especially with a good draft hand. We could move soldo for a pick as well.

Something in that and building a team post Hinkley.

I would have liked perryman, but also not cut up either. Reckon like always the money would be exaggerated.



We lose 27yr olds Houston and soldo and bring in luko, Richard’s , draft picks. That’s ok if it’s the right picks.
