Won't happen, as Melbourne rate Watts highly - what he's doing behind the scenes and at training has really impressed Neeld, just needs to get that strength and confidence into his match performances.

I didn't imagine that this was possible however Mick Malthouse is a sneaky little bugger. Carlton are very keen on signing Gumbleton should they not get Kurt Tippett.

Not real happy with this for several reasons:

1: Essendon has been very patient with Gumby, some return for this would be appreciated
2: He is best mates with Jobe and we cant have Jobe being distracted
3: Carlton desperately need a strong, consistent forward target, if Gumby goes down again they are back to square one...

I was just listening to SEN and heard them mention that Mick Malthouse is a big fan of Jack Watts from Melbourne!

They also mentioned that Malthouse would love to get him over to Carlton.... Is this even possible?

If Gumbleton was a chance to turn it around, surely Sydney with their inexhaustible supply of Lourdes water would be linked to him?
