Hello Bay,

Due to the softness of the drug cheat, Lachlan Whitfield, and the softness of the AFL, Geelong will be without Jhye Clark, easily the best eastern state midfielder from his draft year.

With no Dangerfield, no Blicavs (for the same above reasons), a form-slump Tom Hawkins etc Geelong will be no match for a fully rebuilt, "we're going to be a premiership threat for 10 years", 17th placed but would be wooden spooners if not for a once-in-a-lifetime-shit-Norf, Richmond.

You can look forward to:

  1. Melts from Tigers frontrunners
  2. Melts from Collingwood flogs
  3. An appearance from selected Hawks flogs if Richmond win
  4. Richmond supporters trying to get the bricks they paid for back so they can "donate" them to the players as they leave the ground
  5. A fine game of football at the league's best venue
  6. A display of unabashed MelbClubBias
  7. Bizarre interpretations of the HTB rule
  8. Sulky comments from the commentary box
  9. Civility and modesty from Geelong supporters
  10. Witty banter from yours truly
Enjoy the riveting contest 😍

We're going to the game after work. I haven't been since the last time we played Geelong down there and my partner has never been.

A geelong supporter at work said the ground is really good now that the renos are finished so am interested to see how different it is.

Also I have tickets in a normal section now up in the Hickery stand and not the alcohol free section like ticketmaster tried to give me the first time lol

Please don't squib the match day thread Triggering Tiger
Lile nobody cares if they win here because the chances of them losing to an undermanned reserve team are minimal and I don't want to see them chest puffing like galoots that they'd just won the flag which they wIll do i guarantee it I know these flogs well. Let's see them beat a decent team without injuries next week like the Swans and the following week Carlton which won't happen, they won't win a flag anyway because they have no ruckman or a decent enough midfield to do that.

Congratulations to the 5x AA, 3x Premiership LEGEND Tom Hawkins who breaks the all-time Geelong games record tonight.

Get around the big fella!

You are giving up?? Im very disappointed with you. Aren't Croatians supposed to be tough and resilient?

Nobody gives a shit if Geelonk beat Richmond down at Cheat Park

If they lose however
Yes we know Little 4 supporters take more interest in Geelong than their own teams and the occasional Geelong loss is more important to them than their own team's fortunes :)

Thanks for confirming

Getting the excuses out there early. A true Richmond fan.

I went for a piss at half time at that game and there was a big line. A Richmond supporter asked the waiting crowd "Is there anyone having performance anxiety?"

To which I replied "only the 22 blokes in Richmond jumpers"

And everyone laughed.
