No our narrow home game advantage is what puts us into finals every year. Irrelevant of coach or players and even with an anticoach, we'll make another 5 prelims over the next decade and eventually a flag or several. This will keep going forever until Geelong lose their home ground or other Melbourne clubs reopen their home grounds.
Even the best club only has 16/105 Win loss rate when it comes to premierships. As long as the AFL don't take away our ground we'll overtake all the other clubs on premierships it's simple probability since the stadium changes in the early 00's. Go Cats!

Too bad we didn't capitalise on the 2nd quarter dominance and put some gap on the Tiges... I knew it wasn't over at 1/2 time. Sure enough, Richmond found that extra gear and the Cats couldn't go with them. Totally cracked under fierce pressure.
Tigers are the best side by a stretch this year. As second best we could only get within 20 points of them. God help the Giants next week, they will get torn to shreds.
