Its the silly season in local cricket for players moving around and i was just wondering whether anyone knows of players looking to coach/captain or just play?

Our clubs looking for a captain coach and a couple of bats. Any whispers or rumours?

Yeah I've faced McDonough once. He destroyed us. One of my mates tried to hook him first ball and got smashed in the helmet.

Didn't realise he was down at Tyabb now. Gather he'd be on some fair cash down there.

would u be looking for a district cricketer, played mainly 2's?

Don't care where they play, as long as they can hit 500+ runs.

How old are you? 15?

He would be 15 or 16 years old if he played in the Dowling shield unless his lied about his age like the Pakistian do at school level to play the elite school level cricket. Also helps when you dont have birth certificates

Our juniors play in the ECA. Seniors in BHRDCA.

Domeney Dump? One of the best grounds going around this area. In the process of a $10,000 nets upgrade. Quality clubrooms. Picturesque views :p. What are you talking about?

The ground is ****

I played my junior footy there for about 6 years, umpired there for 3 years before moving up the grades and our cricket game in u/16s against Park Orchards was called off due to the ground being a mud heap as it always is, never seen it not muddy and they have spent so much bloody money on that ground for nothing it is unbelievable

Quality clubrooms? Not the umpires rooms... :p

I've played 8 years there and its always been quality. Perhaps muddy during footy season but i've never been down there much during that time. They haven't spent a cent on touching the surface of the ground.

After xmas you generally score 250-300 on there. If it beats the in field its 4. Last year was probably the slowest its been for a while.

Umpires room? They are lucky they get rooms at all. What do you want in there? A plasma screen and deck chairs?
