He's mid 20's from what I understand and played at Thomson before Drysdale for a couple of years. Has only been playing footy four or five years and did the Dean Brogan switching from basketball. There are rumours at the moment linking him with a return to Thomson, although i highly doubt it

He's played 5 senior seasons, first 3 at Thomson, first 2 back to back premiers, 2nd season was ruck of the year and runner up best & fairest. 2nd season with the Hawks. Retired from junior tennis @ 16 being ranked 34th junior Country Victorian. Appeared in a couple of roller blading videos in his late teens, played basketball with some mates of his for a few seasons but didn't take it to seriously. An all round sportsman and best & fairest 2009 in his 2nd season with the Hawks, runner up in his 1st. He's had a couple more birthday's!

just wondering if the geelong falcons dismall efforts in the tac finals series after only losing 1 game all year has anything to do with a high influx of geelong ammo's and st joeys kids playing there???

I know you love sticking the boots into Ammos TF but after some quick checking i beleive there was only one Ammos player who may have played in the finals. Even then it may be only a bit part and wasnt a player involved much during the year. Just check your facts first before having a go at clubs.

Haha actually just trying to get a reaction from anyone from ammo's or joeys as the site had gone quiet! Very suprised tho if its true that there was only 1 ammo's kid in the side. Anyone got any new recruiting news?

hey guys newcomb has been in the news alot this past season just wondering what players there chasing over the off season and who are there young players coming through??

Pretty sure darryl timms is coaching the 2's at newcomb and most of the boys that left newcomb for forrest are heading back to grinter reserve. They'll still be a rabble tho.

Whats the go with St Albans? Surely they wont appoint Davenport, would be one of the silliest moves in the history. They need a better role model and they need to stop wasting all there money

Couldn't agree anymore vampire. I don't think, despite TF's claims, that they will appoint Davenport. Still might be someone from Bell Park though, Dean Talbot is a name I am hearing who has spoken to St Albans.

Have it on very good authority that Pete is definately the new coach of St Albans.

ha ha now your just making things up... where on earth did you hear this?

they announced at bell parks presentation night that pete had secured the gig so i assume its done and dusted! they also said that ross dillon is coaching banno and mentioned that former player brent grgic has been appointed coach at bph...

tim sheringham is also grooming himself for a job down the track, appointed as a playing assistant to john fitz...

Exactly right mate, he told me himself that he had the job so i tend to believe him. With Davenport taking the St Albans job and Barrett talking about moving to Queensland in the summer do you think the dragons will be able to hold onto Hayden Graham?

yeah i think so, havent heard anything to suggest otherwise... he seemed to fit in really well and enjoyed himself at the club so i would think so but then again i didnt know wayne was unhappy with bp until he took his jumper off half way through a game haha so we'll see i guess...

ive recently heard bout a few young players at newcomb that showed a bit of promise this year....anyone know anyhting about dylan wight, matt cherry and matt mckormack???

I do apologise I have been incorrect on the coaching front, good luck St Albans. Enjoy the bottom half of the ladder for the next x amount of years. Terrible appointment.

I am correct though in that Talbot has spoken to St Albans, albeit now it would seem in a playing compacity. I am not going to name my source but it came from two people, 1 has a tie with St Albans and the other has a tie with Bell Park.

the 'where on earth did you hear this?' was in relation to the talbot thing, until i hear an announcement from st albans and a picture in the paper i cant be certain about davenport either...

there is absolutely zero chance that dean talbot will be playing for st albans next year... if by talking to him you mean they rang him and he said 'hello dean speaking' and they said 'hi dean its ....... from st albans fc' then he hung up you may be right :thumbsu:

Im not saying your lying about talbot talking to St Albans but it just seems ridiculous. Talbot would be lucky to have 1 year left in him and has tommahawk mentioned a few pages ago, he thru his boots out after the last game which could mean that was his last game. The more worrying thing tho is the people in running things out there. They've wasted god knows how much money recently on shocking recruits and havnt really looked like climbing the table for years. Getting a bloke who's a decent player but with a questionable temperement as coach and trying to entice a bloke who.3 be lucky to play out next season isn't the way to go in my opinion.

i'm saying you are lying about talbot genuinely talking to st albans...

I am correct and I stand by my word.

He has spoken to St Albans on more than one occasion. Originally it was in a playing coach capacity (mind you this was whilst he was still in the finals for Bell Park) and then it was just as a player (in the last 2 weeks). He declined both offers - I just spoke to my Bell Park source.

Davenport has signed as coach of St Albans and will be announced at the presentation night this Friday.

Dragicevic also signed up for the next two seasons.
