Nah I think we are passing on te idea now.. not mush enthusiasm about it!

Ok well what about yourself, you just gave the VFL board moderator a bath in the ruck, but were useless as the proverbial round the ground.

Code:
VICMETRO HO K M H T FF FA G B OUTSIDE HO K M H T FF FA G B
onslaught 9 17 0 2 7 5 2 3 0 Whispers 14 8 0 0 3 3 3 0 0

Do you want to remain as a rep of the Hollowed Turf or are you retiring after one exhibition match?

Bad news for Leopold footy club with gun new recruit Jackson Bolton missing the entire season with a re-occuring shoulder injury. No good for Leopold and especially no good for Jackson.

Today i went down to see the 2nd half of Modewarre and Torquay and by the end of the game Modewarre won by 15 goals.......they will make finals this year ill put money on that they will

Lara V Newtown yesterday...suprisingly Lara getting up by about 4 or 5 goals and looked good with the youngsters peforming and also some new recruits playing well.

perrie winkle how did the gun recruits go from each team in leigh hardman and jeremy humm if they played?? im a big big fan of hardman from the gdfl it will be interesting to see how he goes in this competition
yes humm played very well in the first half and played a part in probably all there goals but dropped off in the second.

as for hardman played very well also...didnt dominate but played his part. kicked a couple goals aswell.

I feel O'Toole will win this award to if he can get out on the park each, a roughie for this award would hace to be Marcus Kellett from Ocean Grove, saw him play last year when he showed glimpses at Melton South, and watched him play Centrals last week in a practice match and is a real match winner.

Whos Markus Kellet? Never heard of the bloke and i watched a lot bfl football last year...[/quote]

Who is marcus Kellet, you ask, he is a matchwinner, how much bfl footy will you watch this year mate, if you get a chance go and watch him he goes alright. Does anyone know who went well in the Melton Sth vs Ocean Grove praccy?

Both St. Joeys and Bell Park recorded good wins in Bendigo.

Joeys beat Eaglehawk by 40 odd points and Bell Park beat Sth Bendigo by around 30 points.

Both GFL teams were very undermanned but the younger players weren't disgraced in their teams win.

I heard this weekend that Mumford and Pete Davenport aren't playing for Grovedale this year? Any confirmation?

not quite sure if bendigo fits the description of where we had to go to play football yesterday...

bout an hour and a half past bendigo quite close to the murray in fact. worst day of my life!

also bell park and gfl team of the year 2006 player jason graham has re-injured a shoulder he had surgery on in the off season. will have scans his week to reveal more, could be a massive blow for the dragons...

No good to hear Tomma! Bendigo seems to be similar to Geelong and be very dry. They won't be starting til 5th of May as well...

No good about Jason Graham! Vital player for Bell Park... Good luck to him in his recovery.

Who were the better players from Modda.Did the ex Grovedale players line up for Torquay.

Yer the grovedale boys played but not tim carson and mitch barrow....for modda the good players where a bloke from Cairns playrd a very good of half back and Daniel Hermans from sth barwon played very good aswell kickin a few goals and winnin all the tap outs in the ruck aswell did the St Marys bloke in Rohan Beggs played a very very good game and aswell as Scott Hovey kickin 6 goals in 3 Quarters.....even without out Blair Tournier and there coach Brad Davis not playin they hav a real show when the finals come round....but torquay will struggle this year with all ths players they lost

Great start to the BFL season with a much improved Queenscliff leading Newcomb for most of the day before being run over in the last 10 minutes. Queenscliff really surprised me, thought it would be a one sided game but they have some quality recruits. Makes for an interesting season.

Marcus Kellet said Marcus Kelletr went well

Heard on K-Rock's Sportsbriefs on Saturday that junior games will be played on some different grounds using relocatable posts...Eastern Gardens...and a number of couch-based second grounds.

Good to hear junior footy's being thought about as well.

Yes the lara youngsters did perform quite well on the weekend and with an average age around 21 one would suggest in a few years they could be a very good side if they can hang on to most of them that is.

The pleasing part is the way they where willing to run and take on Newtown, anyone else catch the game id be keen to hear your thoughts?

Isnt blair tournier a 2's player at best?? Especially if modda have recruited well also

What about frank fopiani at Drysdale or wade chapman?

Did Marcus Kellet play for Ocean Grove last season or Melton South?

Kellett played most of the season with Melton south then switched to Oceangrove for 5 or six games due to work commitments. He was injured alot of last year..

nah blair tournier is a seniors playin probs at full forward and in the middle...he played at st marys seniors last year but not for to many games cause he his injured all the time....he is a good player and he can kick a ball a long way

i did catch the game and was very impressed with laras game! as you said they ran out of the backline and took newtown on and it seemed to pay off! sammy allen was fantastic in the middle and along with leigh hardman who was pciked up from north geelong. Plenty of young blokes in the side with many under the age of 23 can expect some solid performances this year id rekon. also kept an eye on jeremy humm for newtown from west coast looks like a very good player as youd expect, kicked 4 in the last!
