i cant remember all of em supertown they had a list on the board sayin these are the blokes not playin so if u want to keep u'r spot you had better perform. why dont u ask either one of u'r housemates...

tala has just come to his senses and got a clearance back from geelog west cheetahs, hilly has impressed in praccy matches will prob play most of the season in ones i would have thought, brown cant get a kick and should retire to save further embarrassment..
 
hey there was just wondering if anyone got out to the moddawarre - port game on the weekend, and do modda look the real deal, noticed some new names in their best.

Also what about modda's senior side, Grovey? In their loss to joeys did grovey have all those recruits (davenport, edwards, baars, raidme, taylor, bell, o'leary, larcombe) playin? if so did the new guys have an impact on the grovey of old?
 
I went out an watched the Torquay / Newcomb game on the weekend and was very suprised with the way torquay played. I think they will be better than first thought. The score board didnt reflect the close game.

They were undermaned but over time will come good. I think they are an outside chance to make the finals.

Can anyone tell me how eric fisher and dean mcinnes are going at grovedale? what positions and what team will they play in? Also how are St Albauns shaping up this year is pat tucker playing there?
 
Where will Leopold finish this year? Are they finals material? And who are their gun players? I know Browny is there and he is a superstar on and off the field, but who else?

Leopold will be a top three team this season. Brown & Wright lead a strong midfield that everyone struggles with. Also have added lynch so have more firepower.

Does anyone know what they have been doing in the practise matches and how there recruits are fitting in ??

All this talk about Leopold makes me laugh. Brown and Lynch lead a strong midfield that everyone struggles with???? Such as who. St Albans maybe Grovey maybe. Not many others. They have added Lynch which will hurt their budget more than opposition backlines, everyone knows he doesn't play for free, but his best footy is behind him and his body is very suspect. Yes they will improve, as every side aims to, but to say they will finish top 3 is incorrect. If they have a good run with injuries they will finish middle of the table. Again.

I have been away with work and have missed all the news from back home about my beloved Eagles. How are we looking for this year?
Do you know if Micky Bright will be right for Rd1? Also how are Betts and Humm going. The Eagles could be a force this year.
What about the coach though- how is he going? Have you heard anything from the boys if he is any good or not? He struggled at his first stint with Bell Park then just rode Hinkley's coat tails by getting involved after Hinkley won em a flag. I just don't know about him. Why did they get rid of Tezza Bright?? That man built us up from nothing, took us to a Granny and now he's gone. Is there any truth him and Michael didn't get along? I heard Michael wanted to be captain but Tezza wouldn't allow it so he threatened to leave and go back to his junior club Bell Park?
Anyway mate keep me posted of all the Towners news this year!

i hear jackson bolton for leopold may be out for the season with a shoulder, can anyone confirm this? shattering for the polds, his pace through midfield would've been very handy to add to the polish of brown and wright

Hey superjohn,
Well the team is looking fantastic, we were a bit worried after we lost to lara, but we were a shambles that day. After a couple more weeks or team formations and strategies, we are looking very good after beating colac @ colac. OMG, their ground is awesome... Mick Bright is all set for round 1 after a full pre season, Jay betts is going to be a superstar again in the gfl, and jeremy humm, well his the sort of player you just go to a game to watch. You could forget about the 2 sides playing and just be in oar of the way he plays. The new coach andrew mapleson has settled in really well, he had big shoes to fill and so far so good for him. Has a few different strategies to normal, but i guess thats normal. And as for the tezza and micky bright feud, i aint sure about it. Wouldnt be surprised if mike was after it, but i could understand why terry wouldnt give it too him as well.

I also just want to find out from the other GFL club supporters who the best midfielders would be. so ruck, rover, centre and R/R

why on earth do you guys shedule training at the same time and on the same day as redan training? i'd imagine there'll be a few missing...

redan schmedan.... if they're true they'l show or at least let it be know they want to show. Turtles training has been wed 5:30 for the last 6 years... not gonna change that just for them.
 
Can anyone tell me who the in form players from St Joey's are at the moment? Any players looking to move up Warrnambool way? How is Torin Baker's form??
