your just using the same excuse everyone else is (for leaving). go back to your crap G&DFL with the rest of the weak pricks! we dont want supporters that leave because the football section is lookin down!
And what is that excuse that everyone is leaving???? You seem to know alot or you just assume that??? Have you spoke to the ones that have left and theyve told you why they have left???????????????

I see Queenscliff had an Ad in the Addy this morning looking for a reserves coach as a few other things but also for players interested incoming down.

Generally this is not a good sign this time of year to see this in the paper could be a long hard year down at the Bowl.

Does anyone know what is happening at Queenscliff? What were their numbers like overall last year and have they picked up anyone? What is Viola like?

Hey Buddah, dont you give me that S**t about being on the Committee for more than 10 years, i am heavily involved and have been for many more than 10 years and no one fits your description. So stop talking crap and head to the G&DfL and watch the Devils crumble (money will soon dry up), we don't need losers like you who only follow sides when they are on top. Remember all supporters are needed in the good & bad times, farewell BUDDAH, we don't want you back.:mad:

i notice buddah hasn't yet had a comeback to these previous posts but he as been on the gdfl forum talkin shit! weak as piss buddah

Condy would probably be on a little bit more after he had talks with South... but not too much...

Really.... Wouldn't think Rob would consider moving from the Town. Anyone else rumoured to have had discussions with other clubs? Transfer opens Feb 1.

sorry been busy following updates on my new club, couldnt care a less wat your thoughts are, ive been there and done the hard yards and you can only handle getting shit on so many times, i have had enough so its time for a change always have a soft spot for north but screwed over too many times.

Probably picked the wrong club if you are sick of being screwed over.

Here is the Seagull lineup from last year with those that have left in Bold, very dissapointing for the club.

B: Hutchinson Connolly Di Santo
HB: Brody Robertson Chandler
C: Peoples Shaw Lloyd
HF: MClean Chubb Milligan
F: Chapman Zaparenkov Nicholls
Foll: Napier Matthews Purcell

That's a fair chunk, going to be a long year, I hope they bounce back.

hutchison played about 2 senior games all year, the club is still hopefull of convincing connolly and napier but they if they dont play they arent playing anywhere else. lloyd is playing in the ntfl and could come back and play once that season is finished. brody has had a shoulder reco and will either play the back end of the year or have it off and recover completely. he will still be around the club. milligan is training at werribee vfl and will play if he doesnt get a spot there. interesting you left out lee ormeno, bernie lynch, corey lockwood, shane albon all of whom either played all or majority of games in 07. with further devolpment of young reserves players who played well when given a chance in the senoirs. 08 isnt all doom and gloom for the seagulls like people are making out. a few new recruits which im sure the club will be working on, plus the fitness and devolpement of young players and a longer season should see the club either match or better there 6 wins in 2007

With 13 of the 18 mentioned to be leaving, you would need either a number of recruits, or your youngsters to be fast tracked. I for one, cannot see either happening. Have heard that N S could be a little cash strapped? With the set-up they have, I find it hard to believe, but if true, is it a reflection of all the players leaving?

Julier from Port Colts in the WRFL is a ruck target for Newtown. Very good experienced footballer who will put the "fear of god" into a few opposition players.

From what i have seen of him in a couple games and heard, only blokes 5ft 8 or smaller are in danger of getting hit. Tough around smalls, unlikely to be so tough around the Gilligans, Wildes, Chambers, Macfarlanes etc

its about 9 after you take in the 4 that i mentioned that werent named. maybe try and get 4 or 5 recruits and then the development of a couple of youngsters. a very young team beata near full strength st. marys in the last game of the year so they youngs players cant be that bad. after speaking with the president he told me from his very mouth money is not the problem. the club is in its best financial position for at least a decade, its just the business of attracting players. they have the money now they are working hard. like i said, anything over 6 wins would have to be seen as a successful season following on from last year.

OK, for arguments sake name those couple on the bench. The names that are leaving all are ones players, none of them played 2's in 2007.
Who are the youngsters coming through?! Not many in the U18's apart from Grace and Pittman.

Also the game against St. Marys, the Football Geelong website has the best players as: CHRISTOPHER CHUBB, TRAVIS ROBERTSON, CHRISTIAN SHAW, MARK LLOYD, DAVID NAPIER, DANIEL MILLIGAN, COREY LOCKWOOD

The top 6 are going!
