Yeah i think he did but anyone could have got in the best that day as we were smashed by over 100 points. I think the leading stat getter that day would have been our full back lol.

The League Executive are a little concerned about the ground but more so about the front gate not being wide enough to fit the ego's of the Bridgewater senior squad through!! Should be a good game with the 2 best teams for the year facing off.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. That's the call of the year. What about late tips for today?
I tip Pyramid in a close 1. I think their luck is about to turn.
In the reserves I will toss a coin and still wouldn't be convinced but will tip Bridgy in a close 1. But the biggest tip is that the front gate statement above will come true and may even apply to a couple of Pyramid players as well.

I'll pay that 1. Bridgy pump YC in the 2's, closer win in the seniors though. The Borough pump South in the BFL. Maybe they need their Bridgy boys back. That's probably what they'd like to think anyway. We will look forward to next week cos this football is a funny game!!!!!!!!!
Had a look at the hill and bridgy sat the 4 goal win was flatering to the hill they looked tired and slow also no power forward and WHY did shaun filo play he could'nt blow a candle out after 10 min this is finals not the egoes. The hill have to play calavil you can hear there knees knocking together all ready watch the knives come out if the go belly up again.Let's hope they have a go this week as there where no tickets left on the passenger bus sat to few putting in.

just ad that newbridge had there ground in top nick on sunday,with all the weather lately, id say it would be one of the best grounds around bendigo at the moment.

Pyramid seem to have to many individuals who play for themselves. For example, Marsh chipped in with a couple of late goals when the game was done and dusted and went around giving high fives like he'd just put them in front. Fev was also trying to launch torpes from 60 out instead of doing the team thing.
What is his record ablett, to be able to win 1 flag in a life time would be great, but i think he has achieved a bit more then that, so i would say his done alright as a coach. Well done to bridgy for the win, but you must remind yourselves that you do have 1 more game to win, can someone remind youngie of that, he was getting a bit excited saturday.
God forbid a club president would get a bit excited when 2 of his teams have just convinceingly made there way into a grand final. Hold the press!

Some obsevation from the weekend:
Good wins by Bridgewater on Saturday at Serp, you would hope that they don't get injuries up forward at training, as old Axle would be pushing the door down to get in.
Pyramid would be regretting a five minute patch in the second quarter where they had three or four shots on goal from 25 metres out and they missed.
There was a lot of money behind the feet of the guy kicking them to, might have put him of balance in the wet conditions.
Do they still play for free in finals up that way, or has that changed?
You can bet your bottom dollar Brigewater would rather play Pyramid again than front up to our old mates up at Calivil.

Yeh the same ground [inglewood] same team calavil wonder if luan marsh will be running around high fiveing the crowd at half time like last year. They just forgot there was still a half of footy to play OOP'S.Big heads small brains not a good combo???

yes, some thought they had done enough, as long as you always learn from mistakes. whats that song, "'history never repeats'', and i'm sure it wont.
Yeah but 1 out 10 attempts aint so great, although Filo has coached 1 more the premiership than you.
Be honest, after pulling the pin after 5-6 rounds why did you decide to return? Is it because you want to experience playing in a runner's up aswell as coaching one?
Remember half the side is there cos of the money not due to the love of the jumper and thats why there's never a huge care factor in finals from recruits especially if their not paid for finals.
Good luck this week because if you go out in straight sets i'd hide in my room for 6 months!
