We’re a middle of the pack team. Hopefully we can avoid the play in.

Have been largely impressed by JJ, he has surprised me.

We will make some moves unless we’re absurdly stubborn, which is possible.

Ultimately not much will change until we move on from LeBron.

He’s obviously unbelievable but there is significant downside to him being on the roster.

It’s exciting to think who the next big fish will be.

Hard to do much when 100 mil of the cap is taken up by two players, elite that they are, and we are over the first apron of the cap and paying repeater tax

I agree that we enjoy the last days of LeBron, revere him for his superstar status and see what grows on the fringe

Love Dalton, Reeves and not much more

We can’t defend, shoot or succeed in transition either way

Blowout to Minny is really telling. We have had a soft schedule, pain to come

What the hell is going on with Vando?

It's very hard given they are totally different players.

Although I think Luka is the better player, I'm not convinced LAL lose. AD is a beast in the paint both offensively and defensively. It's very hard to replace that and only a few players in the league have the ability to dominate the paint at both ends like he does.

But this is Luka we're talking about. The LAL offence will now go from very good to exceptionally good.

I can't recall a better offensive duo than this since Curry & KD when the GSW were an unstoppable force.

At the moment I'm on the fence as to whether this improves their championship chances. I think they have something else brewing. They need to find a decent AD replacement to be in Playoffs contention. You'd have to assume they are two thirds of the way towards another trade and they are currently just finalising something. Provided they get a decent tall to become their new #1 centre, then absolutely this improves their championship credentials.

I’m still in shock, 6 hours later

You do this trade every time. You get your 10-year superstar. AD will be 33 when Bron retires, so there’s every chance he won’t be the guy to build around, plus his trade value will just keep decreasing. With this move, you get the most important piece for chip contention - the centrepiece

The roster looks unbalanced now, but I actually still think we can contend this year too, just need to trade for a roll-and-cut, rebounding, defensive big. Expand the current trade and use Maxi/Rui’s salaries, plus the 2031 1sr

The one short-term thorn would be the perimeter defense, with Max gone - but the shot-making ability has gone through the roof, hopefully that counteracts it somewhat

Need more pieces and hope Luca doesnt chow into the citys rich In & Out offerings

One particular culinary tradition SoCal has that I've not seen much elsewhere in the States is the regional burger plus* chain, and In N Out isn't even the best IMO.

So he'll have plenty of opportunity to bulk up, Baud knows he needs it. :p

* EDIT: By "burger plus" I mean a really wide menu, usually a lot of Mexican items, and deli stuff like pastrami sandwiches.
