Weird time for the Mavs to rest half the team…

Id be more concerned with the 120+ points you will be leaking per game then Tobias Harris point total myself. Thats why im not a huge fan of the off season duo of Melton/Tucker. Is the defense actually better or good. Given up 67 points to the Heat for 21 assists and 1 steal and in all honesty the only reason its 67 points is because todays ref has been somewhat generous with the defenders and not calling extra soft fouls today

Tucker/Melton are starting and getting big minutes to defend but day to day it hasnt really gotten to a good enough level to justify the price they cost

To be able to find the one person that actually reacted to that game in any sort of way is a thing of beauty.

Melton has been a terrific addition for the price, and Tucker has repeatedly come up when it matters most. Exactly the reason you get someone like him.

They have provided more then having nothing would do id suggest but the options that existed besides these I feel have shown that they havnt chosen wisely. Can think of 100 dfferent free agent + trade available combos they could have gotten that would have outdone these 2. We will see in the playoffs mostly about these 2. Ill admit im jumping the gun a bit

Such a weird stance to take here. Im confused as **** about it

Go on. Name them.

Sixers have had a top 10 defense all year, a top 5 pre All-Star when Melton featured heavily in starting lineups (they traded that for a top 5 offense once Maxey entered the fray again). This is a team whose only two notable defenders behind Embiid is literally just Melton and Tucker.

Re-signing Melton is the easiest free agency decision the Sixers will make this season. The cost to get him was David Roddy and Danny Green.

Not sure there exists a contending team that wouldn't want to have Tucker on their team, if they're looking past just his box scores.

Morey has made mistakes on the margins, no different to any GM, but most critiques of him on the Sixers are either bad-faith or just completely without context.

Do you think Morey should have let Doc walk to the Lakers at the end of last season ?

Do I believe you think every rumour is a fact? Yes, absolutely.

Do I think Doc would have walked on a contract that had multiple years left? Yeah, probably not.

Either way, I've had limited complaints about him this season. His usual disregard for young players remains - no more evident than tonight when the literal Blue Coats are going to the wire against beat a full-strength Atlanta - but one he turned to Reed as the backup the centre, the rotations and minutes have mostly been good. Health will be a bigger factor than Doc's coaching re: playoffs, but for all his issues can't deny that Embiid has gone from a top-15 player to a perennial MVP candidate under his tenure.

Just when you thought Atlanta couldn’t get any sh*tter

Nate obviously wasn't the problem after all.

Chicago looks like the only play in team in the East capable of winning a play in game against their higher ranked opponent if they make it to the first round (Toronto was absolutely trash against us and have been for weeks now)
