Re: Rams Jersey for sale

Thanks heaps for that i didn't realise that was the case! I dont expect to get an offer as high as $40 but thought i'd give it a go for the buy now option.

Re: Rams Jersey for sale

If that's Aussie $40, imo that's very good price, reasonable. It might be second-hand, but if it's well looked after, (pics of close-up of the screenprinted numbers to see if there's any fraying or not), then that's a good price considering you could pay $70+ including postage to get one shipped from America.

Also helps that you post that close-up on the ebay listing too, so people can see, and also give more description about how it's screen-printed, and that it's "as new, barely worn" and in excellent condition....then you'll get more interest.

I almost cried today

Was on the bus coming home from one of my 'enjoyable' exams thinking about my beloved Rams when it hit me - we suck.

Rams are the new Fremantle

Think about it? We have the Matthew Pavlich of the NFL in Steven Jackson - one of the best RB's around that carries his team on his back. Just look at the guy play. We have OJ Atogwe - the only half decent player in defence for a few years (The McPharlin factor). We had Witherspoon as well, the Croad factor who left at a cheap rate for our future. We have Little aka Mr Jeff Farmer. Less said the better.

Look at all our drafting blunders, just WTF over the last few years. Other then SJax, all our first rounders have been wasted. Player comparisons with our draft picks.

Steven Hill - Donnie Avery (With DeSean Jackson being Daniel Rich).
Chris Long - Graham Polak (Great player but in an even greater draft).
James Laurinaitis - Rhys Palmer (Only diamond of the last few years).
Adam Caricker - Marcus Drum (Good player but no clue what to do with him).

So apart from the awful drafting, what else is there? The coaching. Mike Martz = Gerard Neesham. Great coaching mind but can't manage a list at all.
Chris Connolly = Scott Linehan. One successful season pretty much carried their careers on and on at the club whilst murdering the club in the drafts. Yet both managed to get a top job at the worst club in the league.
And now, Spags = Harvey. Both have huge expectations, expect to save the clubs, successful coaching careers, experts in their field, both can't coach and both are slowly refilling their team with players from their older team that just can't cut it.

For example, James Butler - on FA and picked up by the Rams to be a cornerstone of the defence. He hasn't been too good backing up Atogwe - but reasonable. Just a Giant scrap.

The only saving grace so far is that not even Americans are stupid enough to rate the Rams as one of the top prospects to win it all at the TAB. Maybe there is hope after all.

However for the mean time, I propose that the Rams move to LA, name a town there St. Fremantle and call themselves the ...

St Fremantle short people

Re: I almost cried today

C'mon larkis, no need to take it to heart.

I'm surprised about two things though.

1) you'd admit to almost crying because your team lost (again)
&
2) it's taken you so long to realise you suck.

I could have told you that a long time ago. :)

Re: I almost cried today

I almost cried too Larkis, but for the opposite reason, the Skins won!!:D:D

Re: I almost cried today

This was intended to be satirical but proving a point :p - coarse I didn't almost cry.
But I am starting to see the Rams being the new Dockers. How far we have sunk.

Re: I almost cried today

I dont mind the Rams Larks if it makes you feel any better!! :D

They were an awesome team in 2000 under mike Martz when they won the Superbowl with an offense that had the likes of Bruce , Faulk , Warner etc and from memory they put up over 500 pts that year..

You have to take the good with the bad and being a Dallas supporter is not much better at the moment mate we have not won a playoff game since 1996.

Re: I almost cried today

I actually thought the Rams were pretty good today larkis.

They outplayed us for a lot of the game and could have easily thrown in the towel.

Surprised at Bulger though. He's missing passes he'd used to nail consistently.

Dick Vermeil led 'The Greatest Show on Turf' to the Superbowl :thumbsu:

I remember it as my first year of being hooked to the game ;)

True Markler my mistake i was getting the names confused! Martz was the offensive Coordinator that year and not made head coach untill the following year.
