Seeing as he's changed numbers and sponsors for '10 (sorry Kall!) I think we should start a new thread for the man.

Plagued by misfortune in '09 (injuries, death of his sister) he is looking to bounce back stronger both mentally and physically this year on the way to cementing his spot in the Eagles team.

You will notice in both those videos that his positioning is fantastic. The amount of times he was front and square was close to half his possies. This means that he has a good/great understanding of the game and that he has the tank to get to the position he needs.

Also is he left or right footed? Such are his skills that i can not tell...

big game against Kerry tomorrow, hope he doesn't get his head knocked off

No I don't think Luke will go as far as to knock Kerr's head off, but i'm sure Daniel will be worried none the less ;)

There is a serious lack of manlove for Shuey. What he did last night for a 19 yr old was star material.

On the footy field, he moves like a Gazelle in a gorillas body.

Got the first centre clearance of the game

Did not miss a target by hand or foot last night. Most of his kicks were left foot.

Kicked a 45m left foot goal which went straight through the middle

At one point went into a pack of 8 players picked the ball up with 2-3 defenders hanging onto him. Dragged his tacklers forward about 3 metres, realised that he probably wont be able to break the tacklers (this time) as they were holding onto every limb possible and despite having his arms pinned, managed to fire off a left hand handball releasing his team mate into space.

Got absolutely smashed in the 2nd/3rd by Hurn who destroyed him in a bone crunching tackle. But when Shuey got up i'm pretty sure he got up with a stiffy. He loves the hard sh1t. Again at it in the 2nd/3rd went up for a 50/50 highball with Kerr, won it but Kerr had his right arm behind his back and still managed to get the disposal off.

I though he was running out of steam in the 2/3, but after firing off a handball from half back, sprinted to half forward to provide an option.

Is always on the move...always

Will be the type of player that is consistently great over a long period of time and will lead our midfield with Masten, Swift and Ebert over the next 10 years.

Also the type of player that will win a few club B&F's but also has the star quality which will, at some stage, make him an AA player before his career is over. I am prepared to put money on this.

An all round player with no weakness in either mind or skill. The perfect finals footy player....I give you LUKE SHUEY

Sign him up for as long as humanly possible. Give him what he wants...anything
