we'll see...give us the hawk playin style and 2 PP's is 2 yrs and come talk to me...you're DREAMIN if you think your side is WAY better than ours...dipper86 said:and the flag is a lot closer to us compared to Carlton.
Yes, Dixon best performance this year gets you over the line against an undermanned Bombers side and the Hawks are on the way up.dipper86 said:and the flag is a lot closer to us compared to Carlton.
is that you bogeyman...hows the NBA goin?Andrew Bogut said:Great player but he does still get a lot of cheapies.

Great midfielder, named HBF. Will happen to Hodge no doubt, purely because he spends a portion of his time in the backline like Lappin did. Cousins, Riccuito, Dal Santo etc. will get the midfield roles because they play there almost 100% of the time.
blues76 said:get over it...he'll lineup on a HBF in the AA...how you people live on this "stat obsession"...yes, he gets a bit of it in the middle...but idiots like hay who kick 20m backwards to him in the back pocket (overall hawthorn style) and just roaming free in the backline blows up his stats like that...clean knees after every game...gimme ball or judd...

As funny as Hird's comment Essendon will win the flag next year!

Agreed on all 7 points.Nightwolf_69 said:For my 5,000 post, id like to aknowledge Choota on a great thread, and say that:
Luke Hodge AA 2005
Mark Williams AA 2005
Hawthorn def. Essendon 2005
Franklin, Roughy and Lewis - Best performed picks 2005
Darren Glass and Ashely Sampi - 2 biggest hacks in the AFL
Bentleigh and weagles_fan are both tools
And.....Hodge Brownlow 2005

Being horsewhipped so roundly is a bitter pill for me to swallow. I had forgotten how important Jon Hay's contibution is to Hodge's disposal count.
But I really must take you up on your complaint about Hodge's clean knees, and explain the mitigating circumstances. The problem is, he is handicapped by his ability to read the play, he just seems to know where the ball is going to go before most of his opponents can twig to it. I wish that wasn't the case, because then it would give him more opportunity to get into the scrimmages and get his knees dirtier. Admittedly, it might make it tougher for him to deliver the ball with precision, but who needs that when you're trying to develop a forward line from scratch?
Thanks for helping me see the light. Hodge< any player with dirty knees.
