About the tag comment?
Well he has had trouble with some of the better taggers as every good midfielder has, but when he genrally gets someone running with him he beats them a lot more times than not.
There are obviously a couple who have beaten him when tagging, Ling being one. But Ling beats everyone, including Judd, including Hodge, doesn't matter who, the guys a great run with player and if he played against Gary Ablett Jnr he would stitch him up no doubt as well.
I think you maybe being a little unfair on Hodge there as he more often than not, wins his battles with taggers. Just one or two of the best taggers have had his number a few times

Hyper had it right the first time, you feed off adding negative tripe to anything hawk related. He/she acknowledged that hodge struggles with a tag as do many other quality players including some cat players but it just wasn't enough though was it dori had to have another dig. FWIW Nick Smith has claimed quite a few scalps this year and will no doubt continue to do so, even Ling was a beginner once.

Considering the OP was started by a supporter from another club maybe it's you who needs to stick to the Geelong board. Your post was acknowledged as being correct but your pettiness continued and you were called on it and now your just being petulant. It doesn't hurt Dori to occasionally acknowledge that players other than those from the Cats are travelling okay.

the hodge v judd debate continues. personally i would pick judd every day of the week. hodge has improved a lot over the last 2 seasons especially but judd still for me. having said that i'd pick judd over ablett aswell

You must have missed my first post in this thread, when I agreed with Bosk in that there is very little Hodge can't do. Of course he is travelling very well, excellently in fact.

this is the first year hodge has consistently played elite football in the midfield, and judd and ablett are still playing better than him

No - because I have more faith that those mediums are a little more informed and far less biased than the majority of BF rubbish posted.
FWIW - Hodge is having a gun year and well done to him, but lets keep things in perspective, that's all.
