No - because I have more faith that those mediums are a little more informed and far less biased than the majority of BF rubbish posted.

FWIW - Hodge is having a gun year and well done to him, but lets keep things in perspective, that's all.

You have more faith. Right, now I understand the basis of your assumptions. Would you like to talk about God now?

Doris is probably the most cynical poster on BF.

I have never seen him/her compliment another side. Always making snide remarks about opposition players/teams

doris is one of the most antagonistic posters I have come across on bigfooty, and is only matched by its geelong compatriote, gunnar longshanks (who I have often suspected is the same person).

best to just ignore it and carry on...:)

Ok, as a Hawks fan you're clearly unbiased. Yes, I now agree - based on half a season, Luke Hodge is now the greatest player that ever lived. Close thread.

Koutoufides board. ;) Or was that 2 seasons. :D

Hodge/Judd. Not sure why Carlton fans care so much TBH, im sure they're happy with Judd and what he does for their team, just as we are with Hodge. They're different players and different types of players regardless.

There does tend to be a bit of Hodge hysteria from Hawks fans, no doubt due to fact they drafted him ahead of Judd many years ago and feel the need to justify that decision somewhat. Not a Carlton thing at all.

Very different players, but Hawks/Blues would both be very happy with who they have.

Just the three highest individual CPDRS from each game (running tallies are in parentheses), with no consideration for the scoreline. I also included a progressive leaderboard created by the same method too.

Despite the CDPR being the best all-round statistical measurement of a player's impact on the game (due to all the factors that go into it), obviously statistics aren't everything, so make of that what you will.

How accurate have champion data been in predicting the Brownlow the past few years?

There can be only one.....

Hodge didn't poll well in 08 when he was our best player along with Franklin in a premiership season.

Cant see him polling well in a side who's currently 6-6

He also had Sam Mitchell as the form player of the comp for the first 15 or so rounds (not to mention Franklin for the entire season, and some periods of brilliance from Bateman), was injured for a month, then spent the rest of the year down back, and not in his greatest form.

This year, he is a diamond amongst the stones. If he continues this form, and doesn't win, then the Brownlow system is complete bollocks.

You are only realising this now? Look at the 10 greatest players, see how many won a brownlow. You could probably even extend it to twenty.
