mcpharlin of course recieved his formative training at the hawks so however good he is is down to HFC...and he is good!!

Better than Gibson, dont know.

Gibson has more counter punch and attacking qualities.

Mcpharlin is a stopper who can swing forward.

Both good qualities but as an out and out defender has to be Gibson.

Much quicker.
Better disposal
better decision making.
Spoiling just as good.

Gibson played in the middle as well for north.
