Blight probably right although berry rate of improvement suggests he is one they got really right
Think Blighty was referencing a couple of prospects for 2023 .....hence why Berry wasn't mentioned

I’m huge on Pedlar but with all due respect I don’t know if you can trust Malcolm’s opinion when in the same segment he says Hately is “probably a wingman”.
He didn't expand too much on Hately .....but if true, Blight sees him as a wingman ....then he's goneski

it sounded like he didnt think hately would make it but if anything he might get a wing

reality - he wont get anything hes not best 26 let alone best 22 and we have the poorest midfield in the AFL

he is a bust but it was worth a go. give him back to gws they've lost 21 players this year 🤣

I really like Pedler and I hope the club play both him and Cook more next year.
As was shown with Fog, we need to get those 50 games into the kids as soon as possible.
Unfortunately Nicks was playing like we had a shot at the flag rather than getting games into the kids.

As you have to in a rebuild, seeing it's a game of managing confidence, and the only true way to manage confidence is to win whatever games you're able to. Especially once you've gone full bore with tanking to the point that you're behind the developmental curve of other rebuilders, which Adelaide was in 2022, noting how inexperienced/youthful we were compared to the other bottom 4 sides.

I like Cook but you still have to earn it. Watching Sanfl finals he needs to harden up, out of the side for exactly the same reason Sholl and Newchurch can’t get a gig.

No I was commentating on Godden as a coach - he was inflexible @ WWTFC and is inflexible at the AFC.
Oh sorry, you won't get an argument from me there. I think Godden comes really cheap, and without the soft cap probably wouldn't be coaching. He'd still be around though, just taking notes or something.

Who doesn't want more Pedlar content? He is looking like a real unit now and fingers crossed his body can stay injury free and he gets a real run at it and may turn out to be a very good top 10 pick. I know he was pick 11 but near enough. His cameos in the SANFL were electric.

I'm officially moving back onto the Pedlar bandwagon nice and early in S23. Feels like hes already had more preseason this year then at any stage of his career. If he can get a full load in before round 1, I feel like we may finally see what he has to offer.

Come on Crows, get this kids body right and give him games!

This is probably the first time I've seen him without a strapped shoulder, looks like a scar running down the left shoulder, hopefully he's done with lingering issues related to the reconstruction.

I don't understand why people had already given up on him. He was drafted two years ago and has shown huge potential. Injuries have slowed him down but his talent is there.

Because .....it's what we do .....and we're very good at it 🤣

Get aboard the train .....in 12 months, you'll never find a poster on this board, that had any doubts whatsoever

He really could be the major point of difference for our midfield this year.

Have people already given up on Pedlar? I’m not seeing that.

What posters are questioning with his injury history, will he get his body right for AFL? That’s a big difference to giving up on Pedlar.

What some on this board like to do is make generalisations and frame an argument that’s not even being made ;)

It is interesting with Pedlar is they seem to have given up on turning him into a midfielder in the short term due to his body, he’s playing mostly forward. That has to change over time otherwise we’ve used another high pick on a small forward and we have a stacked forward line.

He needs to aim to take McHenry’s place because he’s the weakest link.
