They are called fend off's
What stage of recovery have you reached? Still in denial?Great diver, just what the modern AFL wants in a player
This is the afl out too. Real time versus replay. I thought it was pretty clear in real time on the telly. The initial tackle was on the top of the bicep. In real time there looked to be significant contact to the head/neck/shoulder area and that is a free, every time. In slow-mo of course it appears he milked it and that contact to the neck is slight, but if you watch it in real time it's very much there. Sure, Polec's tackle started at his body but the umpire had no chance of picking that one out.
By the letter of the law, it's not a free - but good luck watching it once, in real time, and not blowing the whistle.
What a great response. Truly majestic.
From a supporter of a team known for their booing and sheer lack of knowledge of the basic rules of the game.
We bow to your superior whininess.
Wow. Onto another topic about crowds now? You are all over the shop. How is this supposed to explain the Shuey decision? Is this where I am supposed to mention that not being a financial success would be embarrassing for the Eagles given your club was manufactured to support a VFL on its knees? Some clubs actually have to work at being a football club rather than having it handed to them on a silver platter.I think you miss the point that most WC supporters accept we get the rub of the green at Subiaco and revel in the fact that our carry on can make a difference in a "full" Subi oval. Has nothing to do with knowledge of the game, because if it's half there we will carry on like pork chops in the hope of influencing the outcome. You don't reckon the Tiger fans are/will be choirboys/girls do you?
Perhaps if you could fill your oval then you would know what I'm talking about.

Yes, everyone is always saying how much the AFL needs to constantly tweak the rules to address minor issues and create new unforeseen ones.Hopefully the AFL tweaks the rule to stamp it out completely as they haven't done enough.
Why should a player be rewarded for deliberately inducing a hit to their own head.
Ah, so you know less about the history of the Eagles than you do umpiring.Wow. Onto another topic about crowds now? You are all over the shop. How is this supposed to explain the Shuey decision? Not really related to the OP but since we're digressing...Actually I would suggest you don't mention some clubs have to work at being a footy club to be a financial success given your club revels at being one of the oldest professional sporting clubs in Australia!
One would have thought that since practising since 1870 you would have got it right?
