With the new interchange rule you cannot play 2 ruckman IMO and be competitive!!

Griffiths should be a selection certainty

What new interchange rule?

The majority of teams in the league played with two ruckmen last year?

Its just a nightmare waiting to happen if we keep throwing Maric to the wolfs... a serious injury will eventually happen.

Maybe I'm the only one but I don't see the spud like nature of Aaron Edwards.

If anything he's more lazy than shit.

Look's to be this year's Addam Maric - only he cost us more and is less likely to tackle Goddard.

....and yet I'd still play him ahead of McGoof.

Would this be your forwards order?

Riewoldt.
Vickery.
Martin.
Nahas.
King.
Aaron.
S Edwards.
Elton.
McDonough.
McGuane.

This says more about you than it does about McGuane

That I'd rather play a forward who has at least done something in a high stakes match at least once, can at least kick straight, doesn't turn it over, drop simple marks under no pressure or give away stupid frees than one who not only never peforms against quality oppsition in meaningful matches and regularly misses sodas (no, not just in the Freo game) but does all those other things but might tackle a bit more?

Despite your attempt at justification, my opinion stands, particularly when not even half of what you have said above is true.

Well just taking the "talls" (lose definition) into account, I'd have Griff between Riewoldt & Vickery and would rather get games in to Elton than Aaron. So basically you go the first & last on the list positions right.

I personally wouldnt play either of McDud or Edwards

McDud - Never ever ever done anything against quality opposition and chances are wont
Edwards extremely dissapointing so far but can cut him some slack (being new to the team and to the game plan)
But still wouldnt play him. We dont 'HAVE' to have 3 talls up foward specially whilst we have all 3 of Martin,Delidio & Cotchin being able to rest up foward

HF: Nahas-Vickery-Newman
.F : King - Riewoldt -S.Edwards

With Batchelor,Griffiths,Chaplin,Rance in defence if needed can always throw Griffiths up foward

If this spud is still playing past round 6 then Richmond is dead meat. Why people keep defending this poor excuse for a footballer is beyond me. This bloke has delivered virtually nothing in his time at Richmond. If we were talking about a third year player making the **** ups McGuane makes we would be saying it is time for him to get his act together or bye bye. Yet people want to give this trash footballer more time. No other club including GCS or GWS wanted him, yet Richmod panics because we had big man injuries last year and keeps the embarrassing fool. As I stated earlier if not replaced by an Asbury, griffiths or someone else soon, then count on another year outside the 8. I have said the tiges will make the 8 but not if he gets regular games, for it would show our list has not improved.

Which high stakes game has A Edwards done something?

4 goal haul in the semi v Hawthorn in '07 is the one that springs immediately to mind.

Hey I did say at least once - still once more than Lukey though.:D

If the other option is Nahas, S.Edwards and King all starting in the Fwd set up, Id take McGuane with S.Edwards, not sure still over King or Nahas. (let the doggies game decide)
Newman kicked a couple of goals in a NAB match resting in the forward line due to the sub cap, I doubt Dimmas going to change 6 months of planning just cause he kicked 2 in a row.
Martin and lids will rotate through the fwd line. Griffiths may move down there once we get a full backline taking McGuanes spot, If he isnt averaging 2 a game and taking the 3rd tall.

Its McGuanes spot to lose or A.Edwards has to start trying harder if he wants it.

Luke McGuane - FMD !!!

I'd Rather have all of King,Nahas,Shed's,Newman playing foward with Jack & Tyrone than that spud that has 'STOLEN' money from my club pretending to be an AFL player.
