Who wins this game ? Be easier to pick the quaddie on Saturday at the sale races. The smart money suggests that Serp should be the likely winner and they have got closer to The Machine than any other contender in 2014. I played in a junior team that won every game in a season after being undefeated the previous year. We only lost one game the next year. The GF by 2 pts. Yes it was only juniors but 30 years later it's still sits on the memory shelf which is silently titled "what if" You just have to give these games everything to get ya photo in that great GF winning team snap that is now and becomes part of your clubs history. Love what the Hill are doing this year but Serp have the talent to get another shot at another..........

With the Medal on Sunday I think the old myth that good teams take votes off each could again be proven wrong.
Bridgewater won all 16 games and that gives them a maximum of 96 votes to work with. Opposition players might steal 8 to 10 find it hard to see they will steal more. Leaves more than enough for 3 players from their to get 15 to 25 and all be a chance to run top 5 or 6 I'd say.

A.Parry Z.East and A.Collins ( Could still get around 16 to 18 easy enough) all to poll well. C.Gregg and C.Morris from Marong and R.Ford and L.Ford from Newbridge.

Who else could run the top few boys?

I would expect Craig Morris to be very very close. He has been brilliant this season

morris wins
james second again
broadbent to lead bridgewaters charge with east and parry to round out the top five.

only others who might poll well will come from the top four or five clubs perhaps mcnally from serp gregg from marong and perhaps gilboy and r.ford from newy.

but i would be willing to throw $50 on the above trifecta

Morris can't win as Roota took too many votes off him early in the year. Gregg always polls well. Still reckon Perri will poll well even though side didn't win many games, they were close a lot, but could count against him.
Grayling will poll well early, as he kicked bags early, waned a bit towards the end, might get run down.
Parry polls well and so does East, Collins will attract votes because who he is.

Could be Parry, East to win
Perri
Grayling and Collins

I'll take ya $50.

With over half the sides dusted has anyone heard what coaches are going around again? Will Dennis get Mitti again, will Gregg go on for a 4th year? Dillon be a playing coach? Inglewood stick with youth policy and stability of same coach? Pat Jess has gone from all reports. Does Freemantle do a Michael Voss and realise the old brigade won't work and look to recruit some youth this year?

My medal top 6. Broadbent Parry Morris Perri Gilboy Collins. A lot are saying east and he is a Rolls Royce player but I don't think he had as good as a yr as he has had previously. P.hill to win by 11 points on Saturday.

Gotta agree with Roota fellas. Morris in best players all but 2 games with 6 best ons, 5 in wins.. Should poll heavily. Broadbent featured consistantly but often from better players 3-6.

Pyramid by 14points

Dills only played 5 games all against bottom teams so you'd expect he wasn't too confident in his body and probably wouldnt play on next year. YCW advertised so def a new Coach to go in there haven't heard much else or seen other jobs advertised.

Pyramid by 14points

Serp to win by 10 points tomorrow in the seniors against Pyramid although Pyramid will be desperate to push past the Prelim finishes of the past couple of years.
Bridgewater in the Ressies by 7points although Newbridge are coming hard.
Pyramid Hill to win by 50 in the 3rds against Inglewood. Good that Inglewood have some up and comers though.

Not sure about facts but have heard that Bridgy are a few decent over qualified players short with the ones not playing and newbridge are looking ok with a few not so long ago senior players running around.. Shapes as a rippa

And maybe a new coach.. For the woods..

Great effort to win two in a row but you would have to think winning the first one would have helped his profile amongst the Umpires to set up a win like that. How many did Morris get that was all the rage from Marong for interests sakes?
You would think so..

Morris polled 10 which is interesting considering Marongs year compared to Mitiamo who had Perri poll 13

Is the rumour true that Troy Auld has put his hand up to coach Inglewood, but only if he has a budget of $100,000 to use on players.
Dennis Grinton to coach Mitti again and is looking for a good playing assistant coach.
Heard on the grapevine on Saturday that Pyramid Hill have a $140,000 player budget and Grayling is paid on top of that, $52,000 which includes coaching and making finals bonuses. Great budget if that's the case.

Did anyone hear Dennis on the radio on the weekend? sounded like he was drunk and told a heap of lies about his playing and Coaching career. I know his old but some people can actually remember the facts.

All rumours about budgets and player payments are true.......aren't they????

Herd a little different that he was headed potentially to YC, what would be an average budget if an LV team. I say if a team like pyramid can raise that money then good on them but if $140k is a big budget then they obviously could be spending it a bit better
