Yep spot on fly, the finals was an accurate statement on where each team was at and it finished in the same way. The Machine do it better off the field and it reflects on the field so whilst their list is better, it's better because they work hard over the next five months making sure they look at what they have, what they lose and what they need. Serp have been up for a few years and will likely miss their window due to one team being too bloody strong. Can't see much changing next season. If big axe is back (and lighter). And if Andy stays and the dual medalist hangs around for another season it's looking like number 6 !!!

Alot of water to go under the bridge before then the level of competition will rise next year Clubs have an understanding of the gap that was in place in 2014 that wasnt there in 2013. Marong and Newbridge were two building Clubs this year with potential and talk seems to be that Serp might have a new Coach so that might help them go again with a fresh feel around the place.

Any Best & Fairest and Runners Up's around the place?- Obviously seen the Morris result at Marong was on the recruits of the year.

Heard that Mitiamo and Strath are trying to form an alliance with the u18's competition coming in next year. Strath have about 35 kids to choose from next year already from their juniors coming up. Bart Leahy is recruiting from outside their juniors so that will only increase the numbers that Strath may have. Smart move from Mitti if they are aligning with Strath. Not sure how many parents would be happy to drive kids to Mitti that have been following Strath since u9's. Good luck to Mitti for being proactive in trying to u18 side if this is the case. What are other sides doing to get an u18 side next year?

Coaches for next year anyone?

Good news for the league with Andy Collins doin the job again at Bridgey, declaring that everyone will stay and that they will recruit more
How will other sides be competitive against bridgy Collins missed half the year, and is in the prime of his career, good luck the rest of the teams to keep up, did thurstfield play at all this year?

Heard Perri won at miti in a photo from drake & mckeon. He is a gun Perri and probably the best player to watch in the comp. Apparently that is drake's 13th top 2 finish in a row. Good effort especially as he's not an on baller and pushing 40. Ay others?

Heard yesterday that Sandhurst are trying to lure Parry out of Bridgy, you would think he should have a crack in town to test himself. The drums are beating louder that Murray Collins will coach YCW.

Any player changes as yet guys? Bridgey losing any? Pyramid? Serp is an interesting one, will they go hard while in the premiership window and hope Bridgey lose a few or go the other way?
What about Marong? Not a bad finals series from them, a couple top up players and they could push for top 3. Morris and Morgan staying?? Newbridge were a funny side last year, very dissapointing end. Mitiamo had a new list last year, will they go after a few more to try and make that top 5? Weren't very far off they pushed a few top 5 sides. Perri staying? Heard a couple bfl clubs were circling. YCW also a funny team last year. Beat Newbridge and pushed bridgewater but hammered by miti twice

Bridgewater absolutely have raised the standard as well As Bears Lagoon Serpentine, the past few seasons,

Going to take a mighty effort for the rest of the clubs to catch up...

I wonder who would win out of Bridgewater vs North Bendigo

Mick Ring and Troy Auld to co-coach Serpentine next year is the mail, Morris is staying at Marong. Newbridge chasing a few more out of Castlemaine to come with the Fords. With Featherby stepping down will be interesting to see how many go, if they'll go down the fly in fly out Darwin boys again. Apparently one of the Darwin boys missed his flight 3 times, expensive to pay for flights and then not get on. Round trip would have to be $600 -$700.

Co-coaches all that necessary in this league? I realize Auld will run the bench but reckon it would be hard to find 2 blokes that have the exact same game plan to avoid conflict.. Are they not confident Ring can pull the blokes they need or do they just want someone with success dressed in purple?

Can work and I reckon these two blokes will compliment each other quite well .... good luck chaps :D

Mail in last night that Parry and East are off to Strathfieldsaye. Good to see the boys going in and having a crack at BFL footy. Good luck to both the boys

Any news on recruits or losses guys?? Fairly quiet on here. Parry and east gone is about all we know
Pollock and Rhode had meeting with Sandhurst. Gav James talking to Huntly and White Hills, said he is sick of the travel. Gav James has given plenty to Pyramid over the years, can understand if he wanted a break. Good luck to him wherever he goes. Good player and bloke.

Wow seems as though your in the know champ, should we be even mentioning meeting though, there would be 10 blokes from every club that would probably have a meeting else where.
