The very first scene of the recap from last week, and I'm thinking 'faaaark, I still didn't hear what he said.'
Tell me, does he say to the mistress "I wanna keep doing this" or "I wanna stop doing this"?
It was interesting that the recap went back to Peggy quitting SCDP - I don't think the presentation she gave Heinz was enough to justify that recap. I wonder what's coming of it... I'm sure the next series ends with Peggys triumphant return to SCDP to replace Don...
Much as I enjoyed today's ep, because the series has actually kicked into gear - 4 eps in, and I think I'm going to try avoiding this show. As I alluded to earlier, I just think this show is enjoyed much more watched as a 13 ep marathon with a bottle of decent scotch, a packet of smokes, the windows open... and a touch of weed if you can get it. The last couple of series have been very slow at the beginning, and while the awesomeness of this show (not to mention how ridiculously slow series 5 was before it got awesome) gives me absolute faith that the series will get better, I'd just rather not have to wait a week to realise that this wasn't actually the week that it kicked into high gear.

It's a show for adults. Most Gen Ys would prefer the Walking Dead.

Agreed. The lack of zombies, vampires or blue crystal meth makes it dull to many viewers.

Sadly Peggy's campaign killed Don's.
That scene at the bar when the two agencies came face to face was priceless. Every actor nailed their part and it was funny to see all the different displays of emotion - anger, disappointment, smugness, betrayal. Brilliant!
Also, is anyone else starting to hate Don? I mean, you know from early on that he's not a particularly nice person, but he's becoming less and less likeable. At least to me.

It's funny you say this - I was thinking the exact same thing yesterday! I know we're not meant to like him. I know he's always been portrayed as unlikeable - but because we understand him so well, I never hated him.
But this series? He's such a dick.

Yeah, Don's always been a dick, but he was also sorta charming. He is definitely getting worse with time, though, he's almost conpletely unlikable at the moment.

As disappointing as it's been with the lack of Roger in the last two eps, when he's been on screen it's been absolute gold.
