Madden NFL 2010 OUT TODAY!!!!

Went down to EB games just before and asked what the release date was and they said they just got copies in so BANG!!!! ive been enjoying 6 hours of hardcore madden.

Picked up my pre ordered copy today too!
Only played a couple of games but I already like it more than 09.
The new player ratings are cool i reckon, really makes the gun players stand out.
New cutscene intro to the games is pretty cool and the tackle animations are better than before. So far good times

Two biggest concerns about Madden 2010

- Lack of instructions (I have no clue what to do with this new Pro-Tak or how to block)
- DLC likely to dominate - Possibly have to purchase the right to online francise - couldn't find any 'access' code inside my game case

Just some meh things
- Playing superstar mode, no clue how a 71 overall rookie can start in front of TURNER
- A lot of editing to do with stats :S

Also if you love your rock music, you'll love the music in madden

Yeah, they never have perfected Superstar mode like some of the other games have such as MLB and NHL 09, online franchise was the focus this year

Just finished my first season with the Rams
12-4 season, made it to the superbowl and lost Had Little injured for the whole season but found a decent replacement in Carter and Hall (already on the roster), Hall making the probowl (Along with Brown, Greco, Jackson, Bulger, Karney and Avery).
Laurenaitis getting defensive rookie of the year, Jackson RB of the year, Spags getting NFC coach of the year.

30-24 against the Steelers (on the bright side, I broke Polamalu's thumb after the 15th tackle). Getting slaughtered throughout the whole game however got 14 points in the last quarter to tie. The scariest thing is the 11 sacks to 2 :S

idk who ill start off with when I play the first game

Ill probably start off with Detroit because I like a challenge

then start a superstar mode as well, probably go with LeSean McCoy
Love the RB's in madden. But I want a team where I actually may run.

Hated the last one. Go as McFadden and it's all pass. Go as Chris Johnson and his speed and im too good. Create my own player and the thing you do to get your stats i suck at and im too slow.

Altered Bulger's (To 87), Jackson (to 96) and Avery overall (To 85), hired Brooks, Harrison, Deuce and Burress off the FA

Considering in the second season the Redskins are starting a rookie at overall 61 and the Vikings are starting Booty (overall 52) with Orton leading a range of FA QB's, I can sense a patch occuring.

For any first time franchise players, remember to scout the top 36 potential players - will help you a lot in the draft - specially the last few rounds (will help you pick out almost every diamond, got a 84 overall RT in the fourth, 83 overall HB in the fifth)

I wouldn't recommend 09 on the Wii unless I'd seen the reviews of Madden 10 on Wii and it was panned.

'09 was ok. 10 will be quite different, but hopefully better.

Surprised that EB was able to sell the game prior to its official release on Friday - but I don't suppose the staff know anything .

I am going to wait to see if they do a PS3 Slim + Madden 10 bundle (there are rumors of it in the US).

Apparently to access the online franchises you have to enter a code on the back of your manual into an options menu. There is no extra cost for this, just have to enter the code. I will be trying this when I get it tonight but I have it on good authority that this is correct.

Yeah, it's available at most EBs (Even in Perth)
Now back to getting my behind kicked on Online
