What are they paid? If anything or just have expenses covered? Can't actually imagine that many people could have that much time off work. Or is the filming just done over a couple of weeks and dragged out?

All expenses paid but I think they get like $80 a week on top of that. I think it's a legal thing.

Btw- would like to say, i am going to take an actual count of "Bridge, Opera House AND Centrepoint" shots during the series.

I will have a pad and pen and mark them down.


There is no way i can watch every ep tho, so maybe if someone else could do the eps i miss that would be greatly appreciated.

I think it's so that the production company can claim (for legal purposes) that the contestants are a contractor/employee/whatever which allows them to sign the contestants up to what I'd imagine are fairly restrictive contracts for the purposes of organising PR/having an NDA etc and so that they can slip in language about the contestants signing away their rights to be portrayed however the production company sees fit

Probably still did a better match up than the relationship experts. From all the seasons and couples only one are still together apparently.

This has changed to none. Another reason why they desperately want more couples to work out.

You get a potential match/singles, tell them to sleep in their favourite shirt.......They get up it is vacuumed packed then "presented at a speed date and everyone selects their preferred sniff match. And whoever gets a match (both select as no 1 preference and hey presto) there is your match.

Makes sense in a weird way as attraction is sub consciouss.

I had to steal some music from last season the other day and in ep1 they had Charlene sniffing a shirt.

But also I do think the odds are stacked against them. You have to be very mature to stand a chance imo. I’ve found it hard moving in with my missus and I’ve been with her for 2 years. I would not want to live with a stranger, let alone share a bed.
