i once had a relationship with someone who said the same sort of stuff like jess about wanting farmer to have her back. the expectation is that you stick up for them no matter how stupid what they've said is. some people need another person to help maintain the illusion they have going for themselves that they're normal - as jess alluded to, more than once now (romantic dinner).
some contractual obligations being enforced. we need you to stay at the hotel and play up being a mopey bitch before you go to a dinner party you don't need to be at. can we get a shot of you eating nutella out of the jar?

i don't disagree that men's communication styles are different than women. some girls will talk their feels at you and not want any advice.

Jess is blind picks a fight with Mike, then picks a fight with Mick. Then turns to the cameras and bemoans how Mick didn’t back her up and he should. Drunkenly she says that if people were hanging shit on him and struggles to come up with a reason for people to hang shit on him and comes up with his boots. Rewind about 40 minutes and her and Martha are giggling making fun about his frigging boots. Diaphragm!! her mother should have used one and saved us from all this drama
