I still like Fisher I'm just personally not a fan of him at HB (i.e., where North are playing him). Would much prefer him forward of centre where errors under pressure aren't as costly.

For the first time I'm in a position where I don't really rate any of the rusted on players remaining on the board who would fit my structure all that highly, or they're perennially injured so I'm going to go with someone unproven, our very own Jaxon Binns. The kid has been outstanding in the VFL over the past couple of years and didn't look out of place at senior level towards the end of 2024. Sounds like he's stepping up another level at training over the pre-season so let's hope he puts it all together and ramps up the pressure on positions in the senior side if not breaks in.

Kind of didn't get better as we got better though.

I still remember that GWS game last round of 2023. Game didn't really matter obviously but Fisher made it a very difficult watch with some of his kicking out of D50. Got dropped for finals after that

This young player is a bull. Can play inside midfield with some breakaway pace from stoppages, but was a lockdown defender at times during his junior career, and has gone back for his AFL club in the second half of 2024.

He may give me some flexibility in moving other players around, but wherever he is named on the ground he will be part of my midfield rotation. Versatility is key.
