4TH GEN SWAN
Debutant
Lets cross our fingers he's able to come back when stated.
Would be a huge boost for the 2nd half of the season, to have Mal back.....

I can't wait to have him back. Tadhg > Mal >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Mattner.
Right ... the three of them make one potentially VERY OFFENSIVE weapon.
Forget who is greater than who, the three of them combined give us something very special.
Mattner's provided plenty of dash. And while his decision making isn't quite at the level of Malceski or Kennelly, he compensates by being more aggressive and stronger bodied than either of those two. He's a very good addition to the backline IMO, despite the odd stuff-up.
I have no idea how they'll all line-up, though, once Spida and Malceski are back in the team (fingers crossed). LRT will be back on the half-back line, which will leave 4 tall defenders (including Leo as he "plays tall") and three medium rebounders. Given that we need a smaller bloke in there too, that's one hell of a defensive flood. I think Mattner may well get moved up to a wing. I can't see them wanting to make things hard for Malceski by moving him this season to a position he's not played much.

and they stated that he would occassionally stuff up things but was a great tackler and ran hard at the pill. So far they seem to pretty much on the ball. Does add some value IMO.
