Yet he probably won more B&F votes last night than any of his team mates. I think that highlights more than anything Bret Harvey did last week.

Lenny Hayes has more nads than the entire Collingwood team put together.

Bret Harvey too for that matter.

Had Harvey & North been given the ride by the umpires Collingwood received last night, they probably would have given us a contest. I'm staggered how a team like Collingwood that's gifted everything - including the most biased umpiring imaginable - continue to come up short.

Yet he has only a handful of Brownlow votes in his entire career. Just goes to show the contrast in what's expected by those within Collingwoood and others, like the rest of the footballing public including umpires.

They are gifted everything, that's spot on. They were gifted a win over the Dees by umpire error too.

Several posters hear have claimed they could lip read what was said and it would be interesting if the media or the AFL asked a couple of independant experts what they believe he said. If it was proven he accussed Milne of being a rapist then he has seriosly crossed the line and a big please explain should be asked by the AFL.

Did Sheedy get sanctioned with his throat cutting gesture to Mitchel back in the 90's? Remember the incident but not what happened.

Anyhow, Coolingwood embarrased themselves, Malthouse embarrased himself and not even the umpires could save the precious Pies last night.

So all is good in this weeks episode of Friday Night Football.:D

No I didn't nor could I care less.

I base my opinions on watching a game and not looking up stats on the web.

I'm sure you, KissSteph and other apologists will find plenty of 'wins' from last night. The realists will see what was obvious.

If that was to come out as what he said, his coaching career would be over. The AFL won't want to deal with it... far too messy on so many levels.

I'd like to know what Milne said the get them so fired up. Must have been a pretty good sledge :D

As a previous poster stated, it sounds like he definately had a go at Milne. Right or wrong who knows but to deny it is really pathetic. Put your hand up, say yeh I was wrong to do that and move on.

Ah come on, this is stupid.

Agreed Malthouse should ahve conducted himself more professionally but this is a storm in a teacup. If teams are gunna get freaked out over harsh words, how will they react to a physical game?

St Kilda showed last night, they are better than this. Then they go and screw it up!

We're all getting a bit soft these days. If you have a serious issue, take behind the bike sheds and sort it out amongst yourselves. Don't go crying to mummy!

Hmmm - Sheedy gets a huge fine for bringing the game into disrepute. Same with Hird.

Really ugly incident and goes to the heart of the leadership at Collingwood.

I really couldn't see Nathan Buckley doing something like this.

It seems it's not just their skipper who needs a few tissues.

"They called me a name because I may have done a bad thing in the past... boo hoo hoo. "

If the Saints and the MRP need a first hand witness account of events then I've heard Jason Gram would be forthcoming with information.
