Seriously though, what's wrong with a bit of biff? I loved last nights game, because it had a bit of biff and the Saints players were roughed up a bit last night. It was great to watch early on.

Nothing at all. I love the game tough, pies were fierce in first half. Just went missing when the crunch time came, even with two mor fit players for rotations...

Yeah, i don't think Collingwood will be in the hunt for the premiership this year, if they couldn't defeat an depleted St.Kilda side last night, they had their chances to win. They need to improve a hell of a lot to make the top 4, in my humble opinion.

Great to see the Saints take it further. Maybe it will bring Malthouse back into the real world and show him he is not above the law. He frustrates me to no end. Great coach but as a bloke don't rate him at all. All that stuff he does with the journos and word games is just stupid.

What do St.Kilda want? Do they want Mick Malthouse suspended now? Take a look at your own captain first at his diving antics, before pointing the finger. I'm disgusted at the AFL that they haven't done anything about Riewoldt's diving in the 1st 2 games, when they said, they'll be fining any player. And don't bring Alan Didak into it, Saints supporters, because I won't respond to that!

Mate, i get that you hate St Kilda and Riewoldt but I think you really need to not let you bias cloud your judgment in this case because that's really poor form to say that sort of thing when this thread ahs NOTHING to do with Riewoldt.

As for Alan Didak, I will bring him into that because his dive was much more blatant than what Riewoldt produced the first two weeks, at elast Roo had contact. Didak dived before Dawson even touched him, the soft pansy (that's a blatant Troll filth fans, don't get sucked in now... )

However I have to say I disagree with this - its sirengate all ofer again, why bother doing anything about the incident, game's over, we won, move on. Why does the St KFC always have to make a mountain out of a molehill?!!

Malthouse is a disgrace - he has a giant chip on his shoulder, which makes him ideally suited to coaching Collingwood.

Just imagine if the shoe was on the other foot. Eddie Everywhere would be calling for a royal commission.

Tension was written all over this match. There's been bad blood between the two clubs since the Ball trade. We all remember MM and Lyon facing off on the last day of the trade.

The physicality of the match was expected. Milne is a douchebag who likes to stir trouble, and a few words were given back.

Lyon will do anything to screw the Pies over, on and off the field.

As for Milne/Malthouse incident. I don't really see anything wrong with it, unless Malthouse has said something untoward towards Milne but, nothing wrong with sledging on the Football field though, same thing with sledging on the Cricket pitch.

FWIW, the bigger concern is Malthouse's apparent loss of cool under pressure. Something to do with perceived pressure from within and externally. Maybe Eddie needs to take stock of the situation. If he is going to get riled up in a H&A game over insignificant issues, then its going to be a long 2 years for all concerned.

Grow some agates Eddie and move the sacking forward 18 months. Because that is what this is all about, isnt it? You sacked him 2 years out. A coach in his supposed prime, yet you sacked him. LOL, its a joke Eddie, we all know what you did, and what you failed to do.

So you seriously have no problem with your head coach calling an opposition player a rapist and your assistant coach asking him to "have a go"? Pity Licuria didn't show that courage when he was playing and he may have actually have had to back up his words with actions. Looked pretty comfortable doing ballroom dancing though from what I've heard...

I tend to see it the other way.

Players can and do sledge the crap out of each other. Fair enough, it is a players game.

Coaches should not say a thing to opposition players. The words mean nothing to me, it is the fact that two Collingwood coaches abused and inflamed a situation with aggresive abuse of opposition players.

No teams coaches should do this. NONE.
