If ETH was still in charge Amad would not have been in the match day squad and Rashford would have played 90 useless minutes and we would have probably just lost 1-0.

Amorim has begun well. Given everyone a chance and has now dropped the diva's (Rashford and Garnacho).

There is still plenty do to, but it looks like we got the right coach at least.

Literally was a boring game until the 85th minute both teams you could tell lack confidence, but **** it I’ll take this away win.

Amad you’re our new star boy, go get the number 7 shirt off mount right now.

Good to see Amorim picking the hard working players rather than the talented ones.

Happy with the result but performance wise not the best but city giving their current state I’m not surprised any other city team would have battered us.

That game showed where both teams are at, good to get the win but plenty of improvement. I hope Amad keeps his head down and doesn’t listen to any external noise, he’s not a superstar yet, but he is developing very well, let’s let him continue to do that.

City are in a right crisis, it’s great to see, cheating twats!

Watched the 25 minute mini match this morning on Optus Sport. Great win for us in the end. Man City are crumbling. Big mistake for them defensively leading to the penalty which Bruno Fernandes took to equalise and then a great goal from Amad Diallo to get the win.

Key now will be consistency. I have seen this before when we beat a big team and then lose the next week so need to change that going forward.

Fantastic result. Love to see it.Thought for sure we'd play them back into form; I am very glad I was wrong!

I've just seen this:

I don't know how trustworthy The Guardian is, but all I can say is please. PLEASE. Do this. Swallow your pride about his 'value' and push a sale through as soon as possible.

Watched the full game replay last night. It certainly wasn't the greatest game in the end but we did well to stay in the game which gave us the chance which we took in the end to get the win. A poor goal to concede from another set piece. I feel we could have done more there. Amad is playing really well good game. Great to hear Bruno acknowledge Amad at the end of the game.

Another under the radar positive. Ugarte ran his socks off, him performing like that looks like casemiro will off next season and with his monster wages I’m not complaining.

Both Ugarte and Maguire were unsung heroes from the game. Infact, the central CB position in the back 3 perfectly suits Maguire. That doesn't mean we should retain him going forward ofcourse but credit where it's due.

Seeya don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

Writing is on the wall, and he’s gotten the tap on the shoulder.

Well, it's quite clear there is no place for him in Amorim's system, nor, does his skill set suit possession football so, it's a no brainer. He should piss off to a team that plays counter attacking football where he can still stay somewhat relevant.
