I fear this club will break Amorim before he gets the chance to show he can do it. You can see he is a good manager, he knows his stuff, he knows the issues at the club, but ultimately he can’t go on to the pitch and perform, he can’t hold these players hands.

Our current situation under Amorim is similar to Arteta's early period at Arsenal.

The metrics were indicating overall improvement and you could see what he was trying to implement but they also had players who just were not good enough/more interested in partying, money, etc.

Thus, we need to do the exact same thing he did and purge the squad of all the players who aren't good enough/not 100% committed and replace them with ones that can actually take us forward.

Once that painful process was completed, they were able to turn things around in a reasonable amount of time. Our aim should exactly be the same.

Shits starting to hit the fan, Amorim is finding out who isn't up to it and who isn't, who has big egos etc etc. Going to get very ugly before it gets better, it's shit but this season is already a write off so i say let the place collapse, let it all crumble so we can finally, FINALLY start re-building.
