Yeah still hasn't sunk in fully that we have the great Bastian Schweinsteiger, just amazing!!

Has anyone else played FIFA recently and chucked all the new signings in United? I've played a few games and our midfield is boss, Morgan and Bastian are beasts!

I hadn't even thought of doing that yet. ahh well, there goes the next week of my life

In Fifa 15, will they update the squads after this transfer window is closed?
Or do they only do that for the January transfer window? I forgot

I doubt 15 will when 16 comes out in Sep.

The summer signings is updated in a patch that costs you upwards of $60.

They wouldn't bother doing the update to the older iteration.

I'm sure a gamer out there will do it all manually and can download it as a squad update, but no official release from EA.

LVG confirming that Chicarito will be staying with us for now.

He is certainly 2nd in the pecking order after Rooney and you'd think he will get plenty of opportunities.

Still think we desperately need at least one more option up front.

Chicha is 3rd in line behind Wilson and i doubt he'll be at United come the start of the season.

Sounds like LVG plans to keep him for now. I would agree he does not seem to have a long term future at United but it looks somewhat likely to me that he'll be around for the start of the season, at the very least.

Surely he'd be ahead of Wilson who, whilst promising, has not shown anything just yet to suggest he can be a viable option up front for us right now?

Well there you go. Eyes were raised when Valdes was left out of the touring squad, and now we know why that has occurred.

He and LVG are not on the same page so he looks set to depart sooner rather than later.

Really disappointing news considering we gave him an opportunity to do his rehabilitation at the club and followed that up with a contract. Surely it would have been stipulated in that contract - if not blatantly obvious regardless - that he would be joining as a clear number 2 to DDG?

I can understand a desire to stay but surely he can see the uncertainty surrounding DDG's future at the club as an opportunity to grasp that number 1 spot.

Now we'll certainly have to look into bringing a top shelf keeper to the club over the next 6-12 months as we look set to lose our best two options.

Valdes was signed incase DDG went this window, he isn't going to so Valdes isn't needed.

Doubt it. I reckon Wilson is ahead of him. He was happy for Chicha to go on loan last year and keep Wilson to be 4th in line behind RVP, Falcao & Rooney.

This season i can't see us going into the season with just Rooney, Chicha and Wilson. I reckon we'll sell Chicha, bring in a decent striker and have Wilson 3rd choice. Never underestimate LVG. He might rate Wilson a lot higher than most and start him up top with Rooney. The kid has a lot of potential but needs games and LVG refuses to send him out on loan.

Also LVG has admitted that Di Maria's future is uncertain, but said he expects him to join the squad on July 25 because he gave him his word.

The part about di Maria willing to join the squad, even though it would be late in the tour, is encouraging for us. shows he's keen, could've easily recovered at Carrington or had an extended break

If we can manage to get Ramos and a striker I think it'll be safe to say it's been our best window ever.

Also really happy chicha is staying, love the little pea, deserves to play more.

To be honest , I would of taken 5 million. I think Evans will be decent at a club like Everton.

Yeah, I'd rather take him (obviously dependent on how keen he is and if Bayern are willing to listen) over Cavani, especially given ADM may be demanded in exchange. However if ADM is on the move then he could be leverage in either deal. Having another quality striker operate up front allows Rooney to play the 10 or wider/deeper if necessary.

I would be fine with dealing ADM to Bayern with Lewandowski in return. It's alot harder getting quality strikers and we can easily replace Di Maria.

From memory that was how much it was for last year. They usually release it when the season is close to starting.
