That was a slight improvement from the last game.
We had like 80% possession i think.
One positive from employing this rigid system is injuries being less probable.
No doubt we'll play with a much higher tempo against PSG and Barca though.
I look forward to a 60/30 min sub ratio and a stronger starting 11

Birtles? His commentary in the last two games has been pathetic, all he does is whinge.
Correct. Felt like muting it tbh. The best was when he said Wilson should have played the first half cos we had no experienced players. o_O

Then proceeded to reel off Schweinsteiger, Evans, Smalling and Herrera.

Was frustrating to watch the 2nd half of the game. Blackett, Evans and Smalling are poor on the ball and take too much time to pass it. Pereira is a chance of starting our first game i reckon, playing beautiful football. Shaw, Darmian, Carrick and Depay were great in the first half.

I wouldn't at all be surprised if Pereira features very early for us either, he's been fantastic thus far and you can see how eager he is to impress. It'd be nice if Januzaj had that same enthusiasm to make a good impression, did he have a touch today that wasn't a back pass to Bastian?

Correct. If we want to transition the ball from defense to attack quickly we need to get it to Basti asap. All this fart arseing around by our defense allows the opposition to set up their defense.

Januzaj is a more rounded footballer now but he's stopped doing the things that made him so dangerous. I.e. taking people on and running at defenders. I get angry watching him play now.

How did Schweinsteiger and Scheniderlin go?
Schneiderlin made a mistake for their goal. Other than that they were fine. Shaw was BOG imo. Depay and Darmian not far behind.

Should of been our number one priority, the rumours on otamendi has cooled down ....

Seems all our eggs are in the Ramos basket. That deal needs to get done within the next 2-3 days or it's time to move on.

heckin' hell just sign Otamendi, Ramos, Muller and Pedro.
#fullmuppet

Pedro and Muller only on the cards if ADM goes. Even then i think Muller is a huge stretch, but then again, why would we even bid if there wasn't something there to work with....

People on here still underrating a FIT Smalling and Jones parternship, but agreed we need another CB for cover. If we get a CB, Evans > Everton and then Stones > Chelsea, domino effect.

LVG also needs to realise that Valencia is utter ****ing tripe and start Darmin in the RB position. Still cannot believe that LVG didnt even give Rafael a chance to prove himself and we all had to sit and watch that complete muppet all season. Rojo is wank and a waste of $$$. Stupid signing and never liked it, rushed deal imo. Solid depth for LB but nothing else, dont trust him at CB, has too much flair for the position.

Andreas Pereira is a big chance of starting for United this season imo. Can see LVG giving him a chance, similar to how he gave Lingard a chance early last season. Was player of the year for the u21's last year, having a good season, if not a great one. Really stepped up for Brazil in the world cup. All their good attacking play went through Andreas. He's obviously kicked on from last year and is playing well on the tour. Here are his world cup highlights.:
