Makes sense - to a degree. But gee, the treatments have failed miserably in stopping the spread, which is one of the most important goals of any credible vaccine (Peace be upon all vaccines).

But how do you reconcile Sweden, which was heavily criticised for not locking down in 2020 ? Their 2021 vaccinated numbers are far worse.

When the responses are simply lies that are getting more traction and becoming a danger to people's safety then no, we don't need to tolerate them. When the lies are being spread by dangerous grifters and neo-Nazis then no, we don't need to tolerate them.

Right now, on the available evidence, vaccines do a great job. They are not perfect, but they have saved millions upon millions of lives in the past and will continue to do so. This is fact.

If you do not believe this at all then you are an anti-vaxxer and need to sit down and listen. The anti-vaccine message will no longer be transmitted through BigFooty.

All we are quibbling about now is new (real) evidence, the specific numbers and conditions that show or affect actual vaccine effectiveness, how to respond to the pandemic, what is fair, what isn't and so on.

I am shutting down the spreading of anti-vaccine lies. Not "certain views". Lies. Misinformation. Damaging messages that are now having real world consequences and are being used by grifters and neo-Nazis to build their followings.

Meanwhile Rachael Lavine, currently serving under this administration having been promoted from the region, moved her own parent out of the care facilities before they started sending in the infectious - estimates on deaths caused by this are over 10,000.

But Cuomo loses his job because the sexual harassment that was going on as one of the worst kept secrets in the political sphere came up.

The problem with this spiel is that no one here, ever, has said 'don't get vaccinated'. I've been here since day 1. People have done nothing but justify why they won't get it, for whatever reason. Its an overwhelmingly pro choice place, a welcome change from other corners of the internet.
