Credit where credit's due mate.

chief has done much to protect us from NAZI! bushwalkers and Jordan Peterson's racist incel lobsters.

The more the forum moves to the far left the better imho. The stuff that's posted under the guise of serious discussion is hilarious.

Bf is required reading on a Monday afternoon when you have said or done something dumb and need reminding there are still people out there far dumber.

You guys really do have trouble separating disagreement from hate. It's really wierd.
lol. Amazing projection.

Noting defense of some elite douchebag = hate, in your book :drunk:
Meanwhile, you're telling someone that dislike occurring due to many things over the years is "the story of their life" - but thats not hate or anger, "just an observation" :tearsofjoy:

Did you forget what you wrote again mate? Seems to happen to you a bit.

Listening to the experts is different to pretending you have read and understood all the studies and drawn conclusions from poring over VAERS for 10 minutes.

So your argument is it's ok to listen to experts on the internet you agree with not ones you don't.

FMD.

I had a couple household members test positive yesterday, so tested myself and it came up positive too. Symptoms no worse than a common cold, and I even did a workout yesterday while likely positive. I hope I didn't spread it there.

3x vaxxed.

As in you were out before you knew you needed to test?

It's bad guys. Myself and 3 kids all were positive at once, nothing too bad.

But my wife, about 7 days after contracting covid had a bout of myo carditis induced by covid. It gives you chest pains as it causes inflammation of the heart muscles and was bad enough that she needed to call an ambulance. It resolved itself within a couple of days and was fine thereafter.

Also subsequent to covid and as a result of covid she now gets viral induced asthma every time she picks up a virus (common cold, flu etc). Not fun.

So my suggestion is that if you can avoid catching the thing, avoid it. There are still many unknowns in how humans react to covid as it is still a relatively new virus to humans.

I really hope your wife fully recovers.

My wife, who has never had the best constitution, caught it at the same time as the whole family. The girls were midly sick for a day then bouncing off the walls for the remainder of the isolation period. I was last to catch it and it was an on my back fle for 24hrs the I recovered very quickly.

My wife however has what she calls long covid as her mind is very scattered. It was like this due to menopause pre-pandemic so I am trying to find out what officially the cause.

Either diagnosis isn't great but want to find out if it actually something new in long covid or it's just menopause and covid mixed up or getting misdiagnosed.

My wife is 3 times Moderna. The 3rd she needed to have after getting it

Yeah, she recovered fully. But wasn't fun when she thought she was having a heart attack. Myocarditis post covid isn't all that uncommon either.

Had two people I work with down with it. One was actually away for well over a week but he tends to get migraines a lot so not surprised it hit him hard.
The other guy was back a week ago but he actually had to spend one night in hospital so sounds like for a day or two it really knocked him around. I noticed he had sores around his lips too so really his system was hit hard for that to happen too imo.

You have no compulsion to reply but what is her va status? I only shared mine In the hope it may shed some light.

I have have 2x AZ but got Covid at sane time as offered
booster so have let that Immunity be the dominant force until it is shown otherwise.

Had 2 x Pfizer. Now has to wait 3-6 months for 3rd dose after an infection.

Other symptoms for her were actually mild, it was just the myocarditis 7-9 days after contracting covid that was very unpleasant.

Lucky you guys were vaccinated.

It would have been several times worse without any viral resistance provided by the vaccine.

How much is several times worse?

My children who I am assured need to be vaccinated for their safety caught covid, were midly Ill for a day and then were bouncing off the wall for the rest of isolation.

Please provide the link that shows it would have been much much worse...than myocarditis as was the other poster's experience FFS.

i await your threadban.

oh wait, your nazi fearing idiocy has no power here.

lift your game.

How much is several times worse?

''15 times more likely to die or need to be hospitalized'' worse.

My children who I am assured need to be vaccinated for their safety

No, they needed to be vaccinated to slow the spread of COVID in the community, which stops hospitals from being overwhelmed.

So it's for everyones safety, including theirs.

It's been posed literally hundreds of times. In response to your own stupid questions no less.

You're 15 times more likely to wind up in hospital or dead from COVID unvaccinated than you are if you're vaccinated. Being vaccinated you had antibodies that reduced your odds of needing to go to hospital or dying by 15 fold.

It reduced the severity of the disease.

And the posters Wife got myocarditis from the ****ing Virus, not the Vaccine. Myocarditis is caused by viruses - it's commonly simply called 'viral Myocarditis' by default because that's its most common cause.

You cookers dont seem to understand that simple fact. COVID itself causes myocarditis at rates that far and away surpass your chances of getting it from a vaccine.

You can scream all you want but the facts don't and have never backed up your story.

Vaccinations have not slowed the spread. Most Western countries have had their highest infection and death rates with a vaccination rate of 90%.
It seems the biggest factor is natural Immunity. Who would have thunk it. Everyone from Fauci to the CDC head activist told us emphatically that if you got vaccinated you can't spread covid.

Going by your nonsense above you must still believe them

Your facts don't add up. You say follow the science but you are the most ignorant of it.

You can scream all you want but the facts don't and have never backed up your story.

Yes the facts do back up what I am saying. As has been pointed out to you many, many, many times, with scientific journal articles, actual data from actual hospitals and peer reviewed science.

Vaccinations have not slowed the spread.

Yes they have. Again, as backed up by peer reviewed science and near unanimous consent among scientists.

Its accepted - even by the most stringent anti-vaxxer like BlueE that being vaccinated gives you a temporary partial immunity (that quickly wanes in time) against any infection at all (it decreases your chances of catching the virus when exposed).

BlueE even posted the journal article himself that shows a temporary partial immunity from getting infected.

Seeing as viruses work by a cascade effect of infections, the more people in that chain that dont catch it (when exposed) slows down the overall rates of community infection.

Thats why Western Hospitals were getting overwhelmed early on in the pandemic, but that slowed down after vaccines were introduced, and are totally manageable now that most people are vaccinated (in Australia for example).

If you cant understand how that works, then I cant help you.

No-one was prepared for Covid at the beginning and there was no treatment other than ventilation. This has since been proven to not be the most effective treatment for Covid and in many cases led to deaths. This is why hospitals were overwhelmed.

You can't honestly look at the charts and say the vaccines have slowed anything. There has been way more infections and deaths in nearly every country post vaccine. This is a fact. We were also told when that the vaccines would stop transmission. They have not.
Well that's demonstrably incorrect.

Maybe start with understanding the primary purpose of a vaccine first.
It was to stop transmission.
