It's almost worrying really. People may start asking questions about our supplements program now. We bring in some guy out of nowhere built like Hulk Hogan and taking huge marks over seasoned veterans?
Rugby background, so those blokes are all built like brick shithouses. Literally impossible for us to have a suspect supplement program, due to having Spindleshanks on our list for so long. Speaks more to the fact that when you give a talented player responsibility to flourish with an established structure and system, just what they are able to achieve.

He certainly wasn't this good when we drafted him a few months ago or he would have gone pick 1 in the draft. How does someone improve that much, that fast, naturally? Seems suspicious.
Are you serious? Don't know if there is a supplement to aid your marking and special awareness. Bev named him the specimen in draft night. So he was built before he came. He always had talent and was shook up by a family tragedy which delayed/derailed his afl career.
What is clear is that he has benefitted and flourished in a fully professional environment and with his natural speed the organized zone defense and press really suits him.

There is no mystery here. Whilst he has exceeded my expectations, watching his wafl highlights I was very confident he would be a step up on what we have/had down back in recent seasons.

Can't Wait for him to launch a 65 meter bomb at goal.

well isn't it obvious. He ate his weet-bix since moving over to us. They just take a while before they do anything.

Not really a Rugby background. Has always played footy but tried his hand at Rugby for half or 3/4 of a season before a shoulder injury.

Went back to the WAFL a season later.

My understanding is that in the WAFL he played small a lot and when he played tall was forced to play man on man and struggled a bit. Was still very good at the level, but not as good as he has been for us thus far. Has adjusted to and fitted into the system remarkably well.

Looks like a combination of peptides and creatine honestly but would need tests to confirm.

Anyone reckon he can be moved into more of a rebounding role? I know it seems a ridiculous suggestion considering how well he is doing and how fresh to the system he is, but one would think that Roberts might be able to come back in and release Adam's a bit? He was supposed to have played smaller at VFL level right?

Red path and Boyd are our only KPFs Neither are exactly kicking goals. Stringer is struggling without Crameri and Dickson as we have no experience at all in our forwards. Other thing to consider is that he gets out marked by ruckman. So there's an argument for putting Rough back- well all stuff to consider

Rough went back yesterday and immediately got outgunned on the lead by Kreuzer twice. It's nothing more than a temporary hole plug in-game in my opinion, I don't think starting him back there will work.

Against lesser teams yes definitely

His greatest strength is reading the play which helps his intercept marking, while he is a bull at ground level with his tackling and pressure

He's no No1 defender however, his reach is awful and he has been outmarked far too often. I think once Morris retires and a No1 KPD comes in like a Collins/someone traded in then he'll come into his own for us.

For now he is too similar to what both Morris and Wood bring to the table in terms of size and playing style.

Hopefully once Collins comes in he'll be the man to stop that instead

Roughead is far more useful under the high ball which he definitely helped with last night, accept for getting beat on the lead

And against Hawthorn who kept lobbing high balls in Adams was simply too short to spoil Ceglar and McEvoy. In fact after a while Hawks just decided to keep bombing it in. Having Rough down there against the high ball is definitely an option we need. Aganst Carlton in the last quarter he saved us a number of times

Really? I don't recall many times that Adams was outmarked. I think one big problem is that most goals come from turnovers so it will be a two on one against the defenders and the forwards will be in a better position. Having a taller defender won't mean a thing when it is like that.
