agree with your commentary Wayne. He has not progressed as we thought he might. He needs to work on his craft and that very well may be the seconds for some time next year. Narrow shoulders not a help. He needs to build up his confidence and body and work on his kicking.

Agreed. So many people on here just look at height and weight but there is so much more to it. That's the problem with picking up a KPD in the draft, how their body matures is key to their success and it's not always obvious how that will unfold.

I don't believe Butt's form has been as bad as many have made out... particularly as he has been playing under some duress with shoulder & foot issues.

We have subbed him out in a few games, but should he have been rested before his injury became chronic?

Imo Butts has already showed that he's a strong KPD (2020 and 2021). Was consistently shutting down the best key forwards and his kicking was solid.

Has lost form. If he can get fit and rediscover that form, he's a good KPD. Murray has shown that his best is better than Butts best, so he'll no longer be number 1.

I don't think we should rule out Butts as the second KPD after Murray.
