If I'm not mistaken, this is Melbourne's first game in Launceston. It goes unnoticed with us always playing at Kardinia, Bellerive and West Coast at Perth but I don't think we've ever played Hawthorn or anyone in Launceston.

You might be right!

I remember watching us play a practice match vs Collingwood in Devonport when I was a young fella. Cant remember us playing in Launceston though.

I'm ready to give Bradtke a go at this point.
I think May will probably come in for him this week, particularly given Oscar played North as well, so he's had his 2 warm up games. Then provided May and Lever stay out there, he'd only be even considered for the sake of match ups, and even then, a Hore or a Smith playing undersized would be a better option given the versatility they provide, not to mention the definite drop in spuditude.

I talked to May at the family day. At that point he was definite that he was playing in the Marsh match v Hawthorn. Obviously any further injury, or failure to meet targets in rehab program changes that, but at the time I think he was telling the truth

does anyone know how many players we can use in this game?
I think it's still 26, if you want to.

I remember last year we only used 23-24 players in each preseason game, while in hindsight I realise that is more likely because that was all the players we had fit at the time, it does show that you can play less if you want to.

Said the same thing to me on Family Day. Didn't say it sheepishly at all, was very adamant. I believed him as well. We'll need him Round 1 as Kennedy will kick a dozen on Oscar if he doesn't. He does look super fit though and he seems front and centre in most of the training drills on the weekly doco. He seemed to have a fair say in getting Bennell over the line with us too. So if he comes good, we can throw some kudos his way too. Big season for May...

For how long will May get suspended for? and who will he hit?

I'd love if he took Scully out but would settle for a solid hit on Frost, just for the lols

I like frost, I'd be allright with May coming off the square 1989 style and laying out Scully.

Team is clear dress rehearsal for RD1. That first 18 is what I'd pick except for ANB.
