This was from a few pages back but I wanted to mention: Hanners was on the radio last week before the game and when asked about this he said that he and Tippet were even discussing it on the car on the way in. So it must be on their minds.

On the car ? I suppose Tippet's too tall to sit inside like regular guys. No wonder Hanners' hair always looks like crap. "Ya wanna ride with me Hanners ?" "Sure Kurt" "OK, hang onto the aerial" "You really need to get some roof racks fitted" "WHAT'S THAT ?" (over the wind noise). "I SAID YOU REALLY NEED TO GET SOME ROOF RACKS FITTED". "HEY, THERES MUMMY AND PYKE. THEY'RE IN A CONVERTIBLE" "I WONDER IF I CAN AFFORD ONE OF THOSE" "CRIKEY KURT, IT'S NOT LIKE YOU'RE SHORT OF CASH" "TALKING OF CASH, WHY DON'T YOU BUY SOME CLOTHES THAT FIT YOU ?"

Shitting and pissing themselves in fact

The best thing about being a Hawks supporter is you don't have to go to the toilet during a game. Heck, you don't even have to buy the official Hawks gear. Just buy some white shorts and let nature take its course.

Club Song
------------
Cheer, Cheer the pee and the poo.
Filling our shorts as Hawthorn fans do
Lift your buttock to one side
Shake down the thunder in your strides
Whether the loos are empty or full
Hawks fans don't have to deal with that bull
Sitting in our poo and our pee
Waiting for victory
.....still waiting for victory.

I think the biggest key is to get our defensive structure right , teddy goes with roughy , rampe with gunston and reg with hale, don't want rampe on hale again. Also understand that they are going to tag mal so we won't be able to handball our way out of defence as their forward Press is first class, get ball kick ball then create a ball up 50 down the ground . NO TURNOVERS in our back half, fingers crossed

Smack those overrated brown & gold flogs into the ground

Brereton, Parkin, Crawford, Dunstall......I wanna see em make up excuses galore during the week as to why they lost.

Not overly concerned with the tag. Tag Mal and Macca/Everitt do the distributing out of defence. Tagging only really hurts if the tagger shuts down the target player and manages to create their own opportunities. A simple negation is a lose/lose.

I'm hoping O'Keefe shuts down Mitchell and creates opportunities forward. He looked good last week and tagging in the forward half plays to his experience as a dangerous forward. Mitchell will know that ROK can hurt him if there's a turnover.

Still haven't forgiven Brereton for getting back up in the '89 GF ?

He rose like a zombie !

Buddy is the big influence on this game. Even tho his output has been down, defenders still worry about him and panic. We can concentrate on roughy tonight( hopefully Richards goes to him) and just play the rest of their forward line as per usual.

I'm expecting a win tonight

As I said I expect a narrow swans win by 1-2 goals.

I remember this time Last season not too many people gave the Swans a chance against the crows last year in the Qualifying final.

Adam Goodes had a good game with 22 disposals and 3 goals vs the crows.
