Ha, if you say so!

Do you have footage of this "blatant" foul?

Care to show many any examples of decisions that only I think are blatant?

Or are you spouting shit again? I thought you were tired of all the mud slinging / shit fights. Your last post suggests you aren't.

In any case a quick Google search of "antonio moreno foul" would have given you what you were looking for.

On the plus side (a very small one) a trip to the Championship will allow Newcastle to purge that squad of a lot of really overpaid players (their egos won't allow themselves to be in the Championship) and might finally be the straw that gets Ashley to sell up.

No doubt, the club has in reality been in decay for years now and needs a massive cleanout at board level and the playing squad also. Of the current crop, the only a handful I'd be sad to see go which says a lot - Toon fans haven't had the same heroes to cheer on like they used to.

Biggest loss will probably be Rafa's departure. Best manager we've had since Sir Bobby and leaves us at the mercy of whoever the board appoint to clean up the mess!

There have been times when you said Rooney should have got a red a few seasons back. You were alone in your view.

I would hardly call it blatant, a foul yes, but it semi looks like he gets the ball from a certain angle.

First time I've seen the Simpson one, not as clear cut as I would have thought reading here.

Seen them given, seem them not given. Don't think his arm was in an unnatural position. Only question was if the arm moved towards the ball in a deliberate manner. Arguments both ways there.

At full speed I thought it wasn't a pen, barely an appeal from Southampton either. On the replay its 50/50.

Not really a foul.

Since his arm literally swats the ball away it's only the ref at the time without the benefit of replays making that call I would suspect.

Haha yeah I remember that one.

Pretty straight forward, if you have to go through the back of someone's legs in the process it doesn't matter how much boot you get on the ball. Definite foul for me.

Oh well, that must've been months ago. I'm sure we've had a couple go our way in the interim. Decisions like the ones discussed in this thread over the last few pages are frustrating at the time and you're more likely to remember those that go against you than those that go for you, but I don't really see the point in dwelling on them. I'm one of those who believe that inevitably they do tend to even themselves out over the course of the season.

Villa, Sunderland and Newcastle would be the single most loss of prestigious clubs going down in one season I can recall. I do recall Villa getting relegated before, have seen Chelsea go down, Newcastle,West Ham and Man City on numerous occasions and of course Leeds United, but never can I recall three clubs of this stature going down together. Of course it's not happened as yet though, still a twist or two on the way
