A lot of people with Mattner will be thinking about this upgrade. I am extremely tempted. What are others thinking?

Im thinking ive made a few mistakes and Ill have to trade after round 1... 4 trades by round 3 could be a possibilty. But unlikely.

I think the worse thing you can do in DT is bandwagon jump. Have learnt my lesson after jumping on Bock last year when everyone was talking him up. Ill wait and see what happens this week.

I'd wait until both Mattner and Kenelly have played at least another game, so you have a solid reason to make the trade.

You have to remember why people didn't pick Kenelly in the first place.... He is injury prone... everyone knew he would score well but will get hurt again. I have taken the risk and will trade him out if he gets hurt but the choice was mattner over kenelly before round 1 then stick by your decision its just 1 game for god sake!

Look good on the team page at the end of the year with 10 trades in for Kennelly, and 10 in for Mattner lol.
I think you should do the trade now, I mean why wait another week.
Mattner is crap, Kennelly is a proven gun player. Do it now, use that trade, beat the mad rush to get him.
It will be the best decision you've made all year!

Normally I would say don't jump on the bandwagon but I thought Kennelly would be heaps better than Mattner from the start so I say do it.

Mattner got Kennely's usual role today with Kennely being tagged next week Kennely will get the rebounding role hopefully.
Nice thread. Did anybody actually make this trade? Theyre both duds anyway in my opinion. Im getting rid of Mattner. If he couldnt do well today, he never will.

Once he peaks, trade him off.
It is concerning that he only scored 78 while playing Kennely's role however.
Shows what the better taggers (Ling, Rawlings, K.Cornes,...) can do to the points.
Also showed why Port got smashed, Roose would have been happy to have Kenneally drag Cornes away from the play.
